I also worked on the main line!!!

Thank you for this. Love this! I stopped doing hair bc I felt anxiety about formulating color.

First time catching your video, very helpful, thank you! I'd be interested in your book. Additionally, my conflict comes in when I have someone who has 3 inches of gray, with various shades of level 6 on remaining hair, How would or would you need to fill the gray and in using your formula to achieve target shade say of a 6 how what number would you take from your 6x2=12, 12 - ..... what to achieve desired result? Thank you,

I just found your page!! I’m from Canada and in hair school right now and I’m having a very hard time understanding colour and how and what to do to get to a different level and what to use and when..even tho I’m in class and paying attention I don’t seem to understand it ...I would love to connect with you and continue to watch your videos to try and understand colour more.

Thank you for this! Love how you educate. I also had quit hair because color just didn’t click for me. I stopped for 5 years but I’m back and I will not be defeated. It’s starting to click now thankfully to people like you. I guess where I’m still lost is knowing how much of this and how much of that to add to formula. I’ve got the underlying pigment part down just not sure how much I need to add of ash, gold, blue etc. I get you want to either enhance or eliminate but that’s where I’m at...

Yes i agree !! People want lots of services when it comes to colors and bleaches and want to pay so so cheap when us hairdressers can not and should not be given anything for cheap or add ons for free 🤔i used to suffer so much with this til i posted my prices depending on the lenght of the hair and each client pays different prices ..i find this to be fair

Thank YOU SO SO MUCH , I attend Paul Mitchell the school of Houston and it’s sad that I got so much information and LEARNED so much from this 1 video . They don’t got into detail the way you do they pretty much show us a color wheel and tell us go across the color wheel to neutralize and that’s it. Again Thank you so much 🤍

Amazing information, so I have a quick question. If lets pretend I have a scenario where the client is level and wants to be a level 7, but if you a use a tube of level 9 color with 20 volume, how can I expect the grey's to be covered and neutralize the warmth when using a level 9 tube of color? Unless I am missing something thank you for your time!

Elaine.. I am a computer illiterate so please help me. First, I have been searching for color ed. that I could trust and understand. I am a hairdresser who has worked in salons (even my own ) for over 40 years where you either colored hair or cut hair. Now, semi-retired, I discovered a fascination for color and after much research, I have chosen you. I too have been an on-stage performing educator @ IBS and many others. I have already purchased your book, yesterday, and am anxiously anticipating all the discoveries it will bring. How do I access the presentation you have offered. How do I find the link? I look forward to studying color with you. You sure have a lot of loyal fans. Respectfully,

Thank you I’m so glad I found you. I’ve been concentrating on cut and style the last eight years out of school and now after years of assisting and gaining experience I am on a chair. My current salon has presented the opportunity to pursue color so I decided to do it. You are making a lot of sense to me so I’m going to watch all your vids and I ordered your book. I also wanted to ask where you purchase the swatches?

I’m watching this 4 yrs later but this reminds me of how Redken trained us to formulate color plus we considered underlining pigment when adding or subtracting warmth. They taught us to always use 20 vol & use the color to lift. I have to say though that European colors seems to lift less warm. But I think I’ll play with this. I usually do every root touch with 20 or 10 developer & add ash to counter warmth if needed.

When lightening from a natural level 3 to a level 6 orange undertone why is it whenn I apply the permenant ash level 6 colour it still pulls warm/orangey rather than a very ashy brown? Why does this keep happening? I even used Redken chromatic 6Ab straight in top of the lifted orange and it still has orange showing Please help.
Thank you.
