If you don’t like one country two systems, then let’s do one country one system.

What's so hard to understand?
Imagine a US lawmaker refusing to pledge allegiance to US. Or simply colluding with Russia.

Good riddance. Looked at China and Hong Kong decades ago and compared them now. What has Hong Kong achieved?
It these so called pro-democratic fools that have hold back a once formidable giant.
No countries admire Hong Kong anymore except for the ease of money laundering and harbouring fugitives.

Yes, the end of HKSAR Separatist Lawmakers and trouble makers. Thanks to HKSAR NSL, Hong Kong politicians and anti-China activists will not be manipulated by outside anti-China forces, principally the US, and forced to depart the island or face arrest for their meddling activities. Henceforth HKSAR will be governed by pro-Motherland compatriots

every country is entitled to their own sovereignty. Why not China. The sacked legislator had the nerve to talk about rule of law when he broke the country's law. You try that in US, the punishment could be worse.

HK is a just city in China. It should not get any special autonomy. Get on with the times lol. Let the dissidents peacefully leave and go to UK or elsewhere. Everyone is happy.

Not all pro-democracy lawmakers resign. Two of them refuse to do so.
DW only shows one side of the story because they don't want you to see the whole story. Where is the voice from the Establishment camp? There are also many people supporting to disqualify these pro-democracy lawmakers.
In the interview, the former lawmaker Dennis Kwok said that those so-called pro-democracy camp were following the basic law and procedure. But a few months ago, they visited and asked the US to impose sanctions on China and Hong Kong. I am wondering will the UK allow members of parliament to go and ask the US to sanction Britain? Will there be any country not to regard this behavior as a crime of treason?

These activists pretend to support democracy but they are really just pro-western secessionist who want to detach HK from China to fulfill the agenda of the West.Well, they should now protest outside the US consulate for the suppression of democracy in the US by Trump not wanting to transfer power to Biden.
