ОтветитьHi folks - If you're having trouble with descaling, well that's because the instructional manual is very poorly written in this section. But don't let that deter you! The machine still has a very good descaling process once you know what you're doing.
Essentially what you need to do is start the process once you get the proper descaling solution into the tank (see manual). Once that happens, follow these steps:
i) Turn machine on. Press and hold "one cup", "two cup" and "menu" buttons all at the same time until the machine beeps. You're telling the machine you want to run the descale program.
ii) Then, with your two 1L dishes in place to catch the water, set the steam wand to the steam setting. Then wait as the machine will commence the descale process.
iii) Once everything comes to a stop, return the steam wand setting back to neutral and quickly dump out the water collected in the bins. Now, without wasting any time (you have 5 minutes until it times out!), quickly empty the water storage bin and refill with clean filtered water as normal. If you take too long the machine will beep and you'll have to restart this ENTIRE process right from the start!
iv) Now, without waiting, return the bins back to catch more water and turn the steam wand setting to the "hot water" setting. This will tell the machine you're ready to put clean water back into the system. It will chug away for another couple of minutes after which point it will stop.
v) Once it has stopped, return the steam wand setting back to the neutral position and this will signal to the machine that you've completed the process and it will reset the "descale/clean" light too.
Hope this helps!
I can’t thank you guys enough for these wonderful tutorials!! I was having a difficult time understanding the instructions based on the booklet alone. These tutorials are so well-made, they’re fast to watch, and simple to understand. I cant express my gratitude enough, I will be recommending Ultimata Cosa to all my friends/family! An amazing product with amazing customer service.
