AWESOME People IG Live with Shayan Ebrahim

I made a public pledge to do 31 interviews in 31 days of December with some of the most AWESOME Persian entrepreneurs, artists and creatives I know.

This was my 2nd one and it featured the talented Director, Writer and Editor, Shayan Ebrahimi.

While attending UCLA, Shayan filmed and edited a documentary called The Drop Box, which went on to win the Grand Jury prize at SAICFF and was released theatrically in 2015, becoming one of the highest grossing movies in Fathom Events history. 

Since then, he has edited another theatrical feature film called The Dating Project, as well as nationally-broadcast commercials for companies such as Google, iHeart Radio, and Volkswagen. 

In 2019, Shayan wrote and directed several award-winning short films and a series of viral Persian sketch videos including the star-studded and hilarious “The Persian Bachelorette”.

Most recently, he was hired to adapt a New York Times bestselling book into an animated film and is currently in pre-production on his latest project called “Always Azizam.”
