Thanks for reviewing, just ordered a box yesterday!
ОтветитьI'm sure it's a nice addition to the Marines-only list but my biggest minus for the LAV-AD is that, as far as I can tell, only 17 of them where ever made and that wasn't even till 1995, a full ten years after when Team Yankee is supposed to be set fictionally. I just have a have a hard time braking that 1985 time wall.
ОтветитьI'd buy in if I could find players lol
ОтветитьBuilding one now. Very disappointing. Resin upper hull does not go together with plastic lower hull. Spent over 1 hour sanding down the resin piece and still not coming together flush! Quality control on the aforementioned is an epic fail! Not worth the price I paid for the time and effort I am putting into it. BUYER BEWARE! Also... 1/100 scale figures... What a joke! TCs, mortar crew and Infantry are not to scale! I am using 1/87 scale figures for TCs and mortar crews. Not 1/100 scale but work much better than the clown TCs provided.
Ответитьi thought this was the absolute worst kit. the resin did not line up with the plastic at all.
ОтветитьAnyone looking at this and stressing about building them. Yes they can be slightly difficult. But remove/decrease the height of the 2 guide rails on the LAV-25 hull and the top sits pretty much flush. You'll need a little liquid greenstuff to close some gaps at the back but ultimately not a problem
ОтветитьCould easily magnetize the upper hull and have both lav25 and ad in 1 kit. Pretty cool
