it took 30 years for Kreese to redeem himself from this scene, when he did it was actually pretty awesome, i just wonder if Johnny ever found out

Of course Mr. Miyagi doesn't want to go to prison for life. He just wants to drink the pain away and trim bonsai trees, which I respect ✌

I always get a kick out of Dutch looking away pretending what's going on doesn't concern him. The other Cobra Kai in Johnny's gang were trying to stop it, but Dutch just laughed and turned away. It was just an interesting piece of business in the background and I wonder if it was scripted that way by Kamen or if it was blocked on set that way by the director or did McQueen just decided to do it that way.

No disrespect to Chozen or Okinawa but as a kid this was the only memorable part of the sequel, seeing Miyagi himself humiliate Kreese for what he did to Danny and now Johnny

I love that primal scream from Mr. Miyagi right before he pulls Kreese nose. Almost like he channeled all the rage from losing his wife & kid but realized Kreese wasn’t worth risking going to prison over. This world would be a lot better if other people realized the same thing

To think about it too, Johnny was a back to back champion and would've gotten a just about impossible 3 peat. It seemed like Kreese forgot about it and continued setting his expectations so ultra ridiculously high. I doubt there was anyone who was able to 3 peat an All Valley win in history

To see this in the theater for the first time at 12 years old was something. You were worried Miyagi would have his hands full. Until you realize he was actually the most dangerous person there

Wow this quote spoke so many volumes towards cobra kai.

Imagine how Johnny's life could have been if Kreese went

A lot of us initially wanna put it on Daniel coming into his life, and that Crane kick why his life turned the way it did, when in fact, him losing had nothing to do with it. Kreese was the closest thing Johnny had to a proud Dad, and he dumped him like trash.
