I never had durian. But I had its cousin, “jackfruit,” which taste like Wriggles juicy fruit gum, and I had ‘sour sop” which tastes like sweet sour lemon grape. Durian is popular in the Philippines, but I was afraid to try it because of the Try Channel.

If this is your first time tasting durian, I highly recommend tasting the ACTUAL FRUIT, it does not smell that strong and has a very nice creamy texture and hint of egg and honey
