Love it! Reminds me of my wife! This I Swear for her I care! Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners along with the high pitched lady (Donna Groom) are just too much!
ОтветитьI have loved this song for so many years !!! To have a love like that is precious ❤
ОтветитьBest ever. Please react to Johnny and Joe. Over The Moutain Across The Sea. You are my favorite reactors.
ОтветитьDoo Wop is the best.
ОтветитьIt's those little guitar fills on the second verse that tugs the heart. ❤ Jimmy and Janet's voice contrasting were out of this world amazing.
Ответитьnothing better than this song a the time. It makes me so sentimental and man do cry!
ОтветитьOne of my favorite groups. Song written by : JAMES BEAUMONT and JOSEPH ROCK
ОтветитьOKY, your at a school dance, rapped in arms with your best crush, the lights are low, and you start to melt like butter to the sky liners This i swear is true! welcome back to the 60s. Thats great music, thats true love!
ОтветитьThe ladies voice at the end is the late Janet Vogel.
ОтветитьMy wedding song ….hahaha it was the only thing I picked
ОтветитьChicos presentadores de esta pajina me gustacomo ustedes disfrutan alo maximo esas joyas de ayer lo viven lo sienten que bello
ОтветитьSaludos desde El salvador
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI have another suggestion from this group. Take a listen to "I die" and listen to the lyrics carefully.
ОтветитьThis is my wife and I’s song.
ОтветитьThe strongest lyrics ever guys. "My love for you will last,....till time itself is through"...."my heart is yours my dear, there will be no one new"...so glad you guys are loving this music (and it is so clear you love each other)..:) Good music is good music. You will know it when you hear it, no matter when it was recorded. Doc
ОтветитьCome on now guys. Get up and slow dance to this....
ОтветитьThere is nothing better ❤️👍
ОтветитьSmooth!!! You will notice that many songs in this period hsve the piano as one of the primary lead instruments but string arrangements are also prominent. Background music was very beautiful in this era.
ОтветитьGuys, listen to "I'd Die" - Skyliners
ОтветитьI love shawns shirt I want one LOL
ОтветитьJimmy Belmont at his best RIP Jimmy you were one of a kind!! I would like to thank my parents for raising me on great Doo Wop and awesome oldies music.
ОтветитьMaybe my favorite song
ОтветитьThis music takes me back to the greatest times in my life. I'm so happy that you are enjoying this great music of those times! We have to bring back this music that had so much meaning to one another....
ОтветитьListening to this in the back seat of your 59 Chevy Convertible, this song was responsible for most of the Baby Boomer's being here😍
ОтветитьAs a boomer from Pittsburgh, the home of the Skyliners, this brings back great memories. I love that they resonate with the younger generation. I agree with the lady about keeping their music alive. And yes, they ruled slow dancing!
ОтветитьYou’ve only touched the most extremely beautiful music ever. It’s my moms/dads generation. Anything after is junk, this includes my music of the 1980s was mediocre at best.
ОтветитьGreat channel guys! There is nothing better than slow dancing to a beautiful song like this with your best girl. We’ve lost that. Thank you for bringing it back today.
ОтветитьJimmy beaumont was 18 when he recorded this and sadly passed away a few years ago and janet vogel committed suicide very sad but they left us with an outstanding memory
ОтветитьOnce or twice? I am 73 and have been listening to music all my life.
ОтветитьUsing other artists soundbites for your background music is lazy.
Ответить-Shows how the resurgence of harmonizing today, back thru the 90s 80s & 70s was deeply inspired directly & indirectly by the real nice sounds of the 60s & 1950s doowop harmony group sounds from those years. A lot of younger people today would be surprised how nice it really was. From back before studio synthisizers & auto tune could make a bad singer sound good.
ОтветитьBest ever, great music great times 😅
ОтветитьThe DooWops what can I say.... well they are about " Love & Passion " so many ballads out there representing these two words
ОтветитьThat whole album of the skyliners is great!
ОтветитьHave you reacted to The Drifters? Up on the Roof
ОтветитьI I'm so glad to hear positive comments on The skyliners music. They were a group from my hometown, Pittsburgh pennsylvania, and they were very big there. But the assessment of this I swear is right on
ОтветитьThe very last part was the late Janet Vogel.
ОтветитьWant another one that will give you goosebumps? Check out Little Anthony "On the outside looking in"
ОтветитьHarmony In perfection thank you for sharing
ОтветитьLove it!!! Please review Jerry Butler’s Never Going To Give You Up 1968
ОтветитьThe Skyliners Pittsburgh's greatest group...this song is filled with romance and class...me and my girl in the back seat of my 57 chevy...I told her that this song sounds better from the back seat...Try "I'd die" by the skyliners...super good!
ОтветитьCheck out Mr Pittsburgh favorite ballads...on Y T
ОтветитьThank you for playing this song it brings me way back
ОтветитьWow smart idea reacting to old songs. Especially doo wop.
ОтветитьJanet Vogel, the female in the group wrote that song.
Jimmy Beaumont , the lead singer had one of the best voices in all of Rock and Roll. He could slide back and forth on notes in 3 octaves without equal.
She was the icing on the cake for this group but it's truly sad that she committed suicide...by affixation.
ОтветитьAwesome music...cool hair styles... beautiful cars...the girls, mmm, beautiful...
ОтветитьYes she is definitely singing all through the song
