Barstool Pizza Review - Tony's Baltimore Grill (Atlantic City)

I grew up literally around the corner from Baltimore Grill. Part of the deal is you gotta be inside and experience the place. Pizza in a box is never as good as when it’s brought to your table. It’s been there since the 1920’s and has never changed. I’ll love Tony’s forever.

That's a rookie mistake. Someone should have warned him that Tony's Baltimore pizza comes out scorching hot.

First of all, it’s Tony’s Baltimore Grille, not Baltimore’s Tony Grille. Secondly he’s not on the boardwalk. The restaurant is on Atlantic Avenue, which is two blocks from the boardwalk. Lastly, Harrahs is paying you to appear at their nightclub and you rip AC? That’s called biting the hand that feeds you.

Tony Sopranos pizza in Vineland,NJ is the best in the whole south jersey.

Right when you open the box I knew it was going to be garbage cuz there's some decent Atlantic City Pizza and that looks like trash in Columbus Ohio we have some great pizzas here but I know you wouldn't come here because you ate a highest state that much well I'm not a big fan of them either but you should do a little better Columbus review than the trash places you went to when you did come you need to hit Grandview area.

Been there a few times in the last 5 years. After the first pizza I knew I had to tell them do extra cheese and well done crispy then it's better.

Pizza di Roma is a couple blocks away its better .u gotta get a fresh pie not a slice

4 years living here and I have never had one of theirs yet, mainly because you have to buy a whole one first. There's just too many choices to have to go through that. In my experience here, my top recommendations for a one bite plain slice are as follows:

Chelsea II on Atlantic and Indiana (best taste and availability for the price)
Rocco's inside of the Ocean Casino
Tony Baloney on Oriental Ave (Next to the Ocean Casino)
Famiglia Inside of the Resorts Casino
Cuzzie's Brick Oven on Tennesse and the Boardwalk
Pizza Di Roma on Atlantic Ave next to Ducktown
AC Poppa on Pacific Ave

That pizza did look horrendous. You shoulda tried Three Brothers on the A/C boardwalk. Awesome boardwalk pizza and huge slices. Actually, there are 2 of them on the boardwalk, make sure you go to the one near the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum

Tony baltimores is so awesome!

Used to be great pizza. Now you get uncooked dough every other visit. Place isn’t what it used to be. Accurate score. Last visit the waitress made me tell the owner what I showed her. I didn’t want anything in return from constructive criticism. Showed the undercarriage had white spots of uncooked dough. Told him it’s every other visit and that’s why we don’t come more often. He got defensive and said same ovens and same cooks. I held up the pizza we didn’t eat and said this doesn’t lie. Waitress also said from what she sees it’s who cooked it and if they didn’t use all the dough from yesterday the early next day gets the old dough. Hope they get back to what they used to be.

Try sapporas coal fired pizza next time it’s good.

The pizza is OK the rest of the food is downright awful!!! So bad the homeless don’t even go in their trash cans. I’m a local but people talk about this place like it’s the holy grail.

Their pizza sucks compared to when i was a kid. The new owners ruined it. It’s bowling alley pizza at best now. Everyone claims it bc it used to be great but that was a long time ago. The place is filthy. Plus they want vax records for entry now without a mandate so frankly fuck them.

Why would anybody recommend that place? I’ve eaten there a few times and was never impressed. Haha they do serve ridiculously hot pizza. I bet the people that recommend that place are from Pittsburgh.
