I have always been an A and sometimes B student
I was never the best student in my class but this year i will become the best student
I will come back in 9 months as the best student in my class(beating the best student of 4 classes)

I wish I was as motivated about my grades in my first year of high school as I am right now. I am in my senior year of high school now and i've realised too late that my 2.5 GPA isn't good enough. This year i'm going to work my butt of to get the 5 A's that I need for Uni. I can do this. I have to do this.

I just don't know how to describe my feelings .. Every time I watch this I just start crying .. I don't even how many times have I watched this video .. again and again before every single exam .. How many times it gave me power and confidence to reach amazing grades even if I was just about to give up ..

Heres my story

I started school at age 2 believe it or not my mother saw my liking for books so she believed me.
At 4 my father left
At age 5 I could read the basics.
At age 6 I was the brightest student in class.
At age 7 I knew more than I should.
At age 8 I got my first B and because we are Asian my mom was angry (even though she doesn't say I am proud of you or anything like when she's angry shes just telling you she hates you)
At age 9 I felt discouraged that 1 B I got made me feel like a failure.
At age 10 I happened to get the most loving teacher who showed me that I am not a failure
At 11 I archived my goal I became top in my grade.
At age 12 my mother committed suicide (it was the saddest thing in my life I went from being an A student to a C.
At 13 I had suicide on my mind.
At age 14 I had my first homemade tattoo on my knuckles.
At age 15 I started smoking.
At age 16 I saw that I need to change so I thought I would give it a try hall this time I was doing illegal stuff I got D's and F's)
And now I am 17 trying to get on my feet so far I have improved my grades but not my mental health.






So join me, I am sure you can do it for Asians - You are not Bsians
For Africans - Its African not African't
For Americans - You are Americans not American'ts.
Any other race you can do it. Just believe in yourself
And to all teens out there don't choose the path I chose.
Don't do drugs
No tattoos
Suicide is not an option.

So stay strong the result is worth it.

My advices as a A+ student :
1. Don't study long hours and hard it doesn't work
2. Study smartly and make your own notes
3. Use active recall and space repetition
4. If you procrastinate a lot then use pomodoro technique even if you don't feel like studying use this technique
5. Review past papers
6. Textbook is everything it contains all information
7. Don't lose hope one day one day you'll get those grades just keep practicing good luck 👍☺️

I feel like I dont have time to BECOME an A.grade student. Exams are coming up and I feel like even if I started with this whole, planning ahead-studying, I would still fail at least half of those exams. I will certainly try, but yeah.. I kinda lost hope

I am an a grade student but I want more apparently grade a is not good enough I need 98% or above to meet my mother's expectation
