Hey that looks class
ОтветитьWow, looks and sounds sweet!
ОтветитьWho cares about emulators. This was designed to be played on real hardware and will look and sound a million times better on such a setup. And on your 464 it looks fantastic
ОтветитьWow fantastic
ОтветитьWicked, was looking forward to you covering this. It's an incredible conversion of Pinball Dreams in every aspect, graphics, audio, ball physics are all there! Time to break out the Amiga this weekend I think...
Ответитьwhere can i buy a copy og this game ?? :)
ОтветитьBG games have done an outstanding port of Pinball Dreams .. everything is there music sounds SFX title screen all four tables totally mind blowing from a 8bit computer and looks stunning running on the CPC ... hope they pull off the rest Pinball Fantasies next ??
Cheers Chris
Amazing game for the humble CPC, well done getting first dibs on it too bud
ОтветитьAmazing what can be achieved on such old hardware. I also love DK Jr. on C-64 from few years back. ALMOST 16-bit quality stuff.
ОтветитьIt's an amazing port that seems almost like it hsouldn't exist but somehow it does and really shows what the CPC could actually do. I'd like to see them do an all original game next that is exclusive to CPC that could totally redefine the machine. :)
ОтветитьWhat percentage does Novabug Action score it then? ;D / Truly an excellent piece of coding... I’ve played the demo!!!
Almost makes me want to play Roland on the Ropes.
This is amazing. I love it, I need a hard copy right now - my CPC demands it!!
ОтветитьRediculously impressive
ОтветитьThis was one of my favourite games on the Amiga, and I have to say they've done a terrific job as you mentioned I cannot see anything missing and the scrolling is silky smooth.
ОтветитьAn incredible piece of work!
ОтветитьThat looks amazing in full. I wonder if they will follow it up with Pinball Fantasies.
ОтветитьSuperb can't wait to play it.
ОтветитьThat looks incredible! I've never heard you sound so happy mate :D I love my pinball games (particularly the Pro Pinball series) and this looks like a stonking conversion :)
ОтветитьAmazing but i missed the information where and when it will be released.
ОтветитьAbsolutely AMAZING.
ОтветитьKudos!! I hope the mario concept will bring fast scrolling platformer to Cpc too.
ОтветитьI really hope I can buy this on disc because I will. Looks INCREDIBLE. My 6128 has had a new belt in its drive and is sitting there waiting for this.
Ответитьwahou an exceptional game that has not lost anything of its spelter in this version Amstrad CPC, very very good video, congratulations for the excusivity ;-)
ОтветитьAs so often, the YT-video shows not how smooth the game really is!
It is as smooth as the C64 could be plus better, vivid colors. Music is very nice too.
The good old CPC shows his hidden muscles. Great.
Witness the power of the CPC and bow in front of his greatness!
ОтветитьWell done Nova! Nice job lad!
ОтветитьThis really looks like a great conversion indeed, and may even be considered a port given the amount of reverse engineering which went into it.
A few things of note that were missing from the review:
* The top of the screen where the score panel sits is in glorious mid resolution mode (320 pixels wide, 4 colors) which allows for a very fine and realistic display of the 7 segments LCD panel. The rest of the screen sits in low resolution mode (160 pixels wide, 16 colors) which allows for a very colorful playfield.
* It must be noted that the CPCs graphic chip does not natively offer 1 line vertical scrolling, so there is obviously a lot of hardware trickery going on behind the scenes.
Also, I would recommend filming CRT monitors with the lights on otherwise the camera will try (and fail) to calibrate its luminosity settings based on the CRT image (which flickers constantly) instead of the global luminosity of the room. I would bet that the image would look much better then. You can always correct the CRT screen contrast afterward with a post process filter.
I want to check this on a real machine. Looks amazing.
ОтветитьThe little system that could, but almost never did
ОтветитьI must consummee
ОтветитьNext week, GTA V
ОтветитьEat your heart out, xyphoe hahaha 😀
ОтветитьVeeeery nice. Except for it breaks a lot on my Sinclair 464 with DDI5 (+512KB of RAM).
ОтветитьThis is incredibly crap compared to the Amiga version. It took so much time to convert to CPC and this is all they can provide? Ridiculous.
ОтветитьI’ve had a lovely day off!
Want to run emulators off Windows 7. 10 can be more jittery...
I wonder what those guys could do with a CPC+.
ОтветитьIf they release Pinball Wizards I'll buy a new CPC.
ОтветитьI'm more into C64 and SID music but this is just stunning
Ответитьamazing for an amstrad.
ОтветитьIt's just god damn wizardry
