So does it grab the tie point on the lure? What if you have a line clip?

what do you do when you're hooked into an entire submerged tree that's still green and you can't drag it out?

In the video it appears that there is anther swivel, or terminal attacking the line to the lure. Is this the contact point for the retriever?
