This is entirely wholesome. Doing an eight hour freebie for a sister's precious old Figaro and breathing some new life into it--in February no less--shows character. Good on you! Definitely inspiring me to take some kit to my Celica's interior.

Although not taxed, the Figaro is has a valid MoT test certificate until September 2020. So even though it got written off by the idiot in the fiesta....it appears to live on.

I don’t know where my mechanical sympathy lays. With that beautifully detailed Old Figaro or the clutch of that Fiesta. Poor old thing. Some people really ought to retire from the drivers seat.

That pastel green is the best Figgy color. I tried to sell my wife on one when they qualified under the 25-year rule. She liked the idea till she drove one. Too gutless. One liter, 76hp and a 3spd auto-box don't provide much momentum.

What did you do to clean the speaker grilles in the doosr without damaging the speaker inside?

If I had a cute old collectable car like the Figaro I'd make it my mission to restore it to 'as new' as best as I could. Having said that, it's a great clean for what is an old and neglected car!!
