I worked as a nurse in the mother baby unit (MBU) for a little bit and at least every hour we were going in and out of mom and baby's room. If they were so concerned about her and her baby's safety, they can include mental health assessments in addition to all of the other things that they do. Nurses, CNA's and physicians are constantly in and out of the mother and baby's rooms, they can easily do a quick check and a quick assessment of mom while they are checking on other things. The bond between mom and baby is so important in the 1st days, and taking baby away from her, without her support or family being present, is really unacceptable. I did also notice there is not one other person of color there, and they wont let her family be present to advocate for her... 🤔

This is sad! 😢 It took me back to when I had my baby girl and I BARELY wanted my baby in the nursery… Nah, do everything in here WITH ME! So many of us can truly understand Momma Bear mode. It’s instinct! Praying for momma and baby! 🫶🏾❤️🙏

CPS doesn’t just show up at a hospital to take a random woman’s baby. She has clearly given them cause for concern for the baby’s safety. Even the sister knows this hence her not throwing a fit about baby being taken. The mother also said this is her 3rd baby. One passed away. Where is the other baby? And why was the baby who passed in the system? This woman is unhinged.

I find it very odd that cps is more than willing to take the baby from mom —- AND they won’t allow her family in the room so they could find a family member to take the baby. No they’d rather take the baby from mom AND family …. Their job is to keep children safe and try to keep them w their families. This is NOT OK!

I feel for this mother. Meanwhile there's been multiple foster families that have been found to have kids in cages, and sexually physically mentally abuse foster children. And she lost a child, doesn't mean she can't parent her new child. They wait for her to put that baby down so they can snatch it up smh. It's sad AF. And they will use this against her took all for protecting her child in momma bear mode. They bother innocent families meanwhile in Camden NJ dcfs foster family had kids in cages. Another had her kids head in a freezer dcfs signed off saying they seen the baby weekly for 7 months he was in the freezer

If she is acting like this while holding a newborn she is clearly mentally unstable. I would not let my to children stay at her house. She made several irrational statements and curses the nurse offering a blanket and formula then asks for it.. smh ... she has an ongoing case for a reason. Yet claims to not know why they are there. They would be irrational to leave her alone acting like that with while holding a newborn... barricading the door.. or trying to.. and when the sister came up she still didn't get dressed.

Her sister came and she still is acting a fool. The nurse spoke in the baby and her being discharged but she had no idea as to why children services are involved she can only speak on the hospital stay snd delivery.

Typically they will take all kids born after any founded neglect or concerns. The goal of child services isn’t to rip children away front while parent/parents. It’s to assure the child’s needs will be met. This young lady doesn’t seem stable she could have said wait until my village arrives, shit up and bond with her child. Yelling cursing sporadic movements while holding an infant isn’t safe. Just based on the behaviors she exhibited in this video she isn’t stable.
