Hahaha this was crazy as a proud Gen X'r I can confirm every one i knew in the 80s and 90s who did "anything" was very recreational weed and maybe goofy stuff like speed or caffeine pills thats it and I grew up in flint and Detroit Michigan cesspools of crime. Now a days living in podunk Oklahoma even theres so many tweekers, people arrested for fentynal or whatever its silly as all get out, I never even got into drinking let alone drugs myself my mom would have beat my ass.

Yes I did. Sometimes, I still get caught up watching vortices and all i need is to stare at a wall for a while.... they always appear. The DARE officer would come to our class once a week for 2 months talking to us about drugs. Which of them were safer than others and so on. Until he got to the psychedelics, 1 time investment could lead to a life time flashbacks. I invested over 500 times in 3 years of high school and graduated with Honors and turned down valedictorian 😅

Gen X here. Ive done enough acid in my youth for a lifetime, and I can tell you, I have never had a "acid flashback".
