Proudly perched at the top of our teardrop-shaped isle, Jaffna is closer to South India than it is to our own capital. Connected to the Sri Lankan mainland by a lagoon causeway, the Northern capital exhibits a dignified culture and traditional influences found nowhere else on the island.

Episode 5 of my web series features Jaffna and the surrounding areas. The highlight of this series is Jaffna food, the unique flavours of Jaffna cuisine. I will be showcasing some of the signature dishes of Jetwing Jaffna. Bawani is a local who makes these delicious Jaffna dishes here at Jetwing Jaffna. It was my pleasure & privilege to learn these amazing dishes from Bawani. Trust me guys the dishes were amazing and I truly enjoyed it.

Jaffna central market is another highlight in Jaffna, where you get to see fresh fruits and vegetables.

I will also be heading to Point Pedro.
