Thank you for saying that. I laugh in mind when I read and listen to ignorant people who comment on beautiful people like Nina Simone. They hear a musician or artist when he speaks/sings, however I hear power, wisdom, beauty. I hear the personification of life in its purest form.

Actually this was on ITV. Mavis Nicholson was one of the best interviewers, really interested in her subjects as were Parky, Rusell Harty etc unlike those of today who are only interested in themselves!

Nina is wonderfully honest. Brilliant interview. Might have worked better that when this was uploaded by ThamesTV it included part where Nina sings rather than upload in sections.

What a shame they didn't give her her earnings
