Well thanks for reminding me to never to use this website 👍but Samsung put me through hell earlier this year. My camera had a malfunction on my Z Fold 3 and after trying to go through my insurance they ignored it twice so I went to Samsung and the "Tech experts" did not see the camera violently shaking when I moved it around so long story short I had to wait 4 months to get my $1,800 back and I been using that to run my channel since March 😁

It would be interesting to know what are your rights in such a case. Are you obliged to pay back or not etc... Maybe a lawyer can tell us - would be good content. Don't forget that your channel has impact in the community of audio equipment consumers. Ebayer may change their tactics if you dive into this.

I've used Ebuyer for years and never had any trouble with them. But sadly it seems whoever was handling this situation got their ego hurt and have thrown a hissy fit.

You handled it very well under the circumstances. I've not used ebuyer before but now I doubt l would based on the principle. Amazon makes it easy to return items and gives details on how how and where plus gives you a barcode for UPS to scan... They even handle boxing it up for you. This is good Customer service and l would expect similar from ebuyer

Absolutely right thing to do exposing such customer hostile companies. No overraction at all. They should take the full responsibility for this issue and definitely offer compensation for the extra time you had to spend. Extremely poor customer service. But foremost this video offers good consumer info for potential customers.😁

ebuyer. used them a few times. had a fair proportion of items that didn't work well. then bumped into lots of people unhappy with them. never used them since. better sellers out there. I suppose you have seen the Christmas Office photo with the board in the background rating staff by returns they knocked back or something like that?

You are completely right, and did exactly what anyone should do in the same situation. Pay their money immediately as you get a normal option to do that then say farewell, and don't even think about buying anything from them in the next 2-3 years.

Your frustration is quite understandable. Ideally, a company in that scenario would not only just accept the loss but offer some kind of explanation as to what occurred cause the money to be refunded. At a bare minimum they should have offered a discount for your inconvenience and a personalized apology for the mistake on their end with a WORKING method of payment. This is a prime example of "customer service" at its poorest and if it's an indication of their normal operation they should be well on their way to going out of business in no time. I hope this can be resolved as quickly and as well as possible at this point.

You did a great job of letting people know yet about another case of incompetence and the least to say, to avoid getting scammed, shame on them. I think they were nice enough in their reaching out to you. A simple reply to ask them how to go about sending the money back and the details would come. All grief would've been avoided. 316 views. A bit more than 10 ... . I had a similar issue about 7 years ago with a shop here. Faulty item delivered, refunded and wasn't picked up as was agreed. A while later all of a sudden a registered letter that they would take legal action because I didn't send it back. I was baffled and contacted the manager. No appologies or anything. It still leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. You are 10000% right that you have now spend hours and hours fixing their scr** up keeping you busy costing you money and very precious time. At least I hope this video gives you a bit of extra income and for surely keep us posted.

You are exactly doing the right thing. Contacting BBB, better business bureau would maybe set forth change at ebuyer.. Suspicious improper business and could be considered a scamming front for customers vital information for themselves or hacker's.

Absolutely 100% correct on the handeling of this. Their customer service needs to be handled appropriately. Sorry, but I would never trust names if they weren't eBay or Amazon all these newer ecomerce sites just seem to risky!! Alan keep up the good work and thanks for posting! I think it's good for everybody here to stay clear of ebuy because you get what you pay for .......unless ,they cancel you order send you phishing emails and ask for a refund then deactivate your account lol!!!

Unbelievable. I had somethings like this happen. In my case, it WAS a hacker group. They had broken into a company where I had purchased something and stolen the database. They were very slick and professional. The emails did have all the correct info and I got multiple phone calls. I checked and found that my payment had gone through. They claimed that it hadn't. A few days later, I received a letter from my credit card company along with a new card. My credit card number had been found on a list of stolen cards recovered from the deep web.

You reacted in exactly the right way. Every business school used to have a compulsory Business Communications course that taught you how to deal with situations like this.

Appalling service from eBuyer. I've also had various problems with them in the past so they're usually bottom of my list to use. Those rubbish emails are going to end up in most people's spam boxes. I had a similar situation a few years ago and the supplier came in immediately very aggressively threating legal action etc. when it was entirely their fault. If they'd approached apologetically and offered a discount to cover my inconvenience then I would have been more cooperative. I just wrote back detailing my fee structure to assist them with their issue and they quickly gave up. Your item looks more valuable so I doubt they'll just write it off, but they should expect to pay at last £100 to cover your time and trouble. Don't forget you've also got the risk that their payment system might fix itself and suddenly you find yourself double charged.

I recived a damaged motherboard from them it had a pcie slot missing not a cheap one £730 they keep telling me the RMA is rejected as it has physical damage. I keep telling them I reject the goods within 14 days as not fit for purpose but they seem to think they can change the law with their t&cs

Thanks for letting us know about the Ebuyer. I wont do transaction with Ebuyer. If I were I would have taken a legal action against them. You placed an order and you paid for the item and it has been delivered. The transaction has been completed. How would they possibly cancel the order which has already been processed and delivered? . They owe you a big time apology and compensation.

Well that's rather disappointing, I've used eBuyer for years and they have usually been great, be it quality items at a good price or dealing with issue and products that needed to be returned. I was actually looking at eBuyer recently as I was considering upgrading my GFX card to RTX, having seen this video, if and when I do upgrade, I won't be using eBuyer, especially if this is how they now treat their customers and deal with mistakes that they have caused themselves! High-end GFX cards aren't cheap and coil-whine can be a major issue especially for those with SPD such as myself and the last thing I need is to find myself dealing with a company that employs muppets and treats its customers in such a bizarre and diabolical manner!
