One of the reasons Florida is so good is they have 3 towering shut down defensemen that also move the puck and skate really well. Xhekaj's weak point is reads and moving the puck. I hope he can improve on those. He might get traded if they land Hague or Miller.

So we had a lockout for a entire season in 2004 and one if the reasons why according to batman was the completive balance. We have revenue sharing that bailed out Florida when they were struggling. What play Matheson on bottom pair and he can be the “veteran” to play with Reinbacher or Mailloux!?

I feel sorry for any D partner of Matheson, looks at Carrier by then end, run down and injured, as was Ghule when they were partnered and even Hutson was getting rocked while paired with him.

Matheson plays hot potato with the puck, rather make a bad play to his D partner to get hit than take the hit himself to keep puck along the boards
