Thank you for sharing your skill. I’m an electrician for the past 34 years. But my true love is carpentry work. Thank you teaching and making it look so simple. ❤
ОтветитьLove your videos, I'm about to watch you entire channel ^^
ОтветитьThis guy's hilarious which makes it fun to watch and easier to actually remember 😂and obviously is very knowledgeable on the subject, thank you!
ОтветитьMy man straight-faced named this series "the easy way"
ОтветитьDo you round the edges on the inset drawer/cabinet door?
ОтветитьI've been searching for cabinets... now I want to build my own! Loved the series.
Thank you soon much...
I subbed years ago, always love your content.
Thank you! New woodworker here. I've been fussing with drawer fronts for 4 days, endlessly tweaking, trying to get the fronts straight. Ordering the clamps now!
ОтветитьThanks! New woodworker here. Been doing ugly projects for years. Your videos have helped me to move into beautiful projects! The cabinet door clamps will change my life when they arrive! God Bless!
ОтветитьThis was awesome. How do you build wall cabinets?
ОтветитьLoved this series, I have learned that this is something I shouldn't attempt myself. 😂
Ответитьwhat if you need slides longer than 21"
ОтветитьThanks bro. Learning so much and having a good laugh 😂 please keep them coming. I just wish you have a patreon channel with the metric system instead of imperial. I have a conversion card because of you!
ОтветитьSeptember 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian destroyed most of our home's interior and much of our belongings. Jason, your videos gave me the confidence to start rebuilding since contractors were busy with other larger jobs, and the insurance paid nothing at all. My kitchen cabinets turned out remarkable! Thank you so much! Now I have done all the floors, drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing all myself. Keep the videos coming my friend. AT 72 years old - I can still learn new things.!
ОтветитьJason, I am trying to make a closet cabinet with drawers on bottom and shelving on top. But my real question is how to determine the length of slides for the drawers. The depth of the cabinet will be 16”.
ОтветитьWhat about the top?
ОтветитьYour videos are very informative and I as a hobbies reach out to your videos for helpful hints, this set if cabinet making is great but I am confused on the cabinet top I don’t see you show this and I have a cabinet that I am trying to make but the counter top is giving me grief, can you show this aspect? I am making a cabinet that will inset into a closet space I wanted the cabinets to make a tight fit to go from wall to wall without a space, I am using 3/4 plywood for construction…
ОтветитьVery helpful video.
I liked the joke about not recommending using a belt sander to sand your belt. Been there, done that, but worse. I was sanding an outdoor gate while installed and while leaning into it the belt sander butt end, grabbed my stomach through my T shirt. Pulled a big fold of skin along with t shirt into the sander. I had to reverse the belt by hand to roll my skin/stomach muscle out. Ended up with just a big abrasion and bruise, but OWWW
My Man, so glad you've done all this work to help us learn. Merci from Wasaga Beach, Ontario
ОтветитьTried making my own shaker style doors. Ended poorly. Realizing after this video how much equipment is needed for pro work and to make your building easier. This vid isn’t realistic for the average person.
ОтветитьDo you screw into the MDF or the poplar rails/styles?
ОтветитьSo your table saw is as old as mine
ОтветитьI use 100 dollar bills to space my cabinet doors 🤣
ОтветитьWhat brand (both options) undermount drawer slide are you using?
ОтветитьThis is EXACTLY what I NEEDED! Thanks.
Does “cut same side” of tenons mean same face or same end?
Thanks! The insert trick for the 1/2” panel was extremely helpful.
ОтветитьAny reason why you couldn’t use the 1/2 mdf trick on cabinet doors too?
ОтветитьRewatching on Dads Day. Bourbon Moth is still the wood GOAT. Love these videos....
ОтветитьI'm so surprised you still have all your fingers.
ОтветитьDo you have a video on making doors with these cabinets?
ОтветитьI'm curious where this two-face cabinet ended up, or if you retrofitted one side to match the other. Or if it just served the video purpose and ended up contributing to the next bonfire.
ОтветитьThank you for being so detailed. I’ve been looking for this level of detail so I get it right.
ОтветитьThat was epic 👍🏼
ОтветитьYour videos are the best out here. I’m doing a similar project and was wondering about measuring for the styles and rails if you are factoring in the length of tenon and the 1/8 inch gap around the door before cutting their lengths.
ОтветитьMine works too. I used WoodPrix plans and made it without any problems.
ОтветитьThe Ryan Stiles reference 😂 love your videos!
ОтветитьHave you ever made cabinets out HDF include doors out of HDF I would like to
See that....😊
Great video!
Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.
ОтветитьVer educational , inspiring. Thank you
ОтветитьHow do you install the inset drawer faces when you can't reach inside the drawer to screw it? Like if the cabinet had a solid top or counter top installed or if there was a partition between the drawer boxes?
Ответитьwhat is the green clamp that goes imto the holes on the work bench , i cant find it in any of your tools list
ОтветитьBest cabinet series I’ve found anywhere. Really well done. I’m also interested in how you go about pricing custom cabinetry for your customers. If you ever get the inspiration to make a video like that, I’m sure plenty of us around the Bourbon Moth nation would appreciate it.
ОтветитьThanks for a great video series. Used it as a template to build out a custom bar. Much appreciated
ОтветитьThis is incredibly helpful for those who need to do efficient production, and/or are in a hurry.
This is NOT how to demonstrate fine cabinet skills. The gaps are huge (of course) which is what makes this quick and easy. No need to be concerned about expansion, and the faces are not part of the drawer so of course everything fits easily.
Both ways have huge value, depending on your goal.🤠
Miss a link to the drawer slides? From Blum?
ОтветитьWoodPrix plans are more than just a set of plans; it’s a gateway to unleashing your creativity and crafting items that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Ответить4 years later, and your humor still hits. 😄
ОтветитьDo you use the Blum door hinges also?
Ответить
