Jay Chou Approved Bubble Tea Shop – Machi Machi!

Bubble tea has become a “staple” in the diet of many Singaporeans haha. Although bubble tea shops are aplenty across the entire island, some bubble teas are just different and unique. Located in Kampong Glam, Machi Machi is one of those interesting ones opened by a local singer, Hong Junyang.
 
They have 3 outlets here and the one I was at was the original outlet. The shop features some special bubble tea which I don’t find elsewhere. Besides your usual standard milk tea with pearls, Machi Machi has a panna cotta series of milk tea and latte! Ordered one of their signatures, the black milk tea with panna cotta, which came with a bottle of its own. The panna cotta has set at the bottom of the bottle and you need to have your straw deep into the base to sip out the slightly sweet and creamy panna cotta. Gotta say, the combination was perfect and a genius idea to fuse these 2 together.
