How to restore a VW Bus!

Hey guys just came across your shows a couple weeks ago and think there great. Im up in the Gatesvillle area and have a dunebuggy and a Baja ( new project) If you ever need anything up in my area let me know be glad to help been doing the VW life for many years !

Do you know what the light aqua/baby blue color name and number is that is seen on some of the VW buses? I am restoring my 1969 VW bus and I want to paint the bottom half that color.
I love that headliner..I have a sliding sunroof so I am not sure if that type of headliner would work for my bus?

Had a 71 in HS and I'm so excited, picking up another one in the morning. The guy has 11 more so I see lots of Classics in my future.

I never liked up grading these old vw's to disc brakes the old drum brakes seem to work well. I my mind just restore them with all new parts and go they will work just fine just as they were meant to

What a beaut 🎉 Niche question I know, but do you guys happen to know if anyone has ever made a vintage bus wheelchair accessible? The first wheelchair lift retrofitted to a VW Bus I’ve seen is on a T3/T25/Vanagon (depending on where you are in the world, obvs). My 2011 T5.1 does the job of course but man, my absolute dream would be to have a T2 Bay with an auto box and a wheelchair lift so I can get in and enjoy it 🥰
