This is an amazing song. Shortly after loosing my parents just 11 weeks apart my sister was diagnosed with bipolar and a personality disorder. We live is different states but I’m her only support as our family turned their backs on her. She’s tried to kill herself numerous times and some nights I’m so scared the phone will ring to tell me she’s dead. I also have two autistic kids with their own mental health struggles. The world can be so cruel and lacks so much understanding.

How do you allow a song reach so deep into your soul and snatch out that one barrierrd hidden pain that has not yet been faced and felt enough to start healing and letting go to live. I just did. I really relate to this song. I am a kid with ADHD and my mind feels like a living hell sometimes, and I am scared of growing up, because I'm afraid of losing that light of hope and innocence that's inside me. But growing up does not take away anything about you. It actually increases and transformers into something beautiful, like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. But, along with not seeing for them for two months, I also am struggling with depression, anxiety, loneliness, and fear. This song hit hard. Good work, mr capaldi. 😭😭

Most people just have better coping skills than us, I have it too, but as I have gotten older I have realised that I am feeding and fuelling it myself. 80% of what we worry about in life does not happen. We put ourselves in an emotional wheelchair going nowhere. Wake up every day and say to yourself I can do my best TODAY, when you put your head down to sleep say to yourself all I can do now is give my mind & body the REST it deserves and I will TRY again tomorrow.
