@imre1000 They didn't use it to clean up the water. They used it to clean up their resume and their checkbook. They will be fined based on the amount of measurable oil that leaks. If they disperse it all, there is no way to effectively measure it. It has nothing to do with helping anyone that deserves it.

She may just be wrong. There is natural seepage of oil in the Gulf that has developed natural bacteria that eat the hydrocarbons. Last I heard the hydrocarbon plumes may indeed be getting consumed by the native bacteria. Needs to be munched before it rounds Florida though. Perhaps not having more surface oil get into the marsh lands was a better option. A mess in any case, but fingers crossed not as bad as she is imagining.

@marsCubed Does seem they didn' t do much research ahead of time. They don't really know how the use of the dispersants will affect things. I hope that the native bacteria have more surface area to act upon, but they didn't evolve to deal with the dispersant chemicals. Agree... hopefully grants being given for studying this and should have already been done. -- Was the dispersant used to just try to hide the oil sub-surface? I wonder.

@Phelan666 Wish I were. The food is contaminated already with GMO's. The water in much of the country is unfit to drink ( with the oil entering the ground water system there will be even more deadly containiments) Private health care impssible to afford. Illegal wars that kill or maim vast amounts of the human race. It's NOT one issue . It's a series . Connect the multitude of dots and you have a clear picture. The middle class and poor thinned and there is more to come.

If you have been paying attention through the several finanical events that have recently taken place you might understand what is being done. Unlike many YT'ers I do not waste time trying to get people to look beyond their noses. I spend time researching . I suggest you do the same .
