Looking at the video is a pleasure
ОтветитьAbsolutely hooked!
ОтветитьBookbinding is a therapy.
ОтветитьOh man. I'm having some definite paper cutter envy right now. How many pages can that bad boy slice through?
ОтветитьInteresting ~ never seen the cover board and spine board being put together in this method before ~ I will have to give this a try ~ very interesting 🧐 ~ thank you for a new method to try!!
ОтветитьThis is so wonderful! I love 📚 books! Now I can make my own. I write cursive too.
ОтветитьThank you very much!
ОтветитьYou should make a list with links of materials used! I'd love to try making a book myself and it would be very helpful!
ОтветитьYour work is wonderful, could you help me by telling me what glue you use?
ОтветитьSir book binding per aur
ОтветитьSo this is how thick law books are made. Great channel! New subscriber here. 😍
ОтветитьNo D.
ОтветитьThis whole process is amazing and your craftsmanship blows me away! But honestly, the thing that impresses me the most is how sharp you keep your scissors!😲 This probably marks me as a mega-nerd but it's such a joy to have knives and tools that are razor sharp! 😂
ОтветитьI'm a bit late, but am so happy to see you're uploading aging! I first found your channel when you posted 2 years ago, and will certainly be keeping a closer eye out for your uploads now.
ОтветитьDo you just use pva glue for everything that you're gluing? Even in the previous steps when you were working on the spine?
ОтветитьHello mate! I hope you will receive 2022 surrounded by loved ones and healthy.
I find the thin cardboard i use for the spine is kind of glossy so i make cuts into it for better adhesion with the leather. Is that why you sanded your spine?
What'd you use for glue?
Ответитьthis is amazing. how did you learn how to do this?
ОтветитьI recommend using
Segment blades 9 mm Olfa DKB-5
How long does it take you to make each book? I want too start making books lol
ОтветитьWhere is your house sir
I would like to vist you for guidance in future
Amazing inspring work. Some possibly instrusive questions but I am curious (thankfully not a cat) and you don't have to answer! Are you a bookmaker by trade or perhaps a (retired) engineer with a lovely hobbyt. I see the precision of both in your lovely work. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьI wish you could upload a video of the equipment you use

ОтветитьDobrý den. Píši vám z Česka. Jsem knihař a vaši práci velice oceňuji. Je to krásné staré řemeslo, které již není moc k vidění. Přeji vám v něm hodně úspěchů i ve vašem soukromém životě 💞💞💞
Ответить🤩 Que maravilla de trabajo!! Gracias por compartir! 🙋♀️
ОтветитьI’ve dreamed of me making a book, I always wanted people to know me around the world, thanks for all of this I really appreciate it
ОтветитьI would have appreciated knowing what the purpose of adding each piece was and what they are called.
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьWow... its really creative art. Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьYou are a true artist. I would very much like to try to do this. Skill like yours, it would be a miracle for mine. To look even half as magnificent as yours. Thank you for sharing. God Bless you & yours. 😊
ОтветитьHi, good morning. I love the work you do binding. I have a question. Following your way of binding, could a book be bound with a flat spine instead of a curved one? Thank you so much.
ОтветитьIts hypnotizing
ОтветитьWhat size (thickness) of chipboard should be used?
ОтветитьAmazing! Thank you peace and love xoxo
ОтветитьWith every one of your videos, regardless of the sequence of them, I learn some different way that the same thing can be accomplished. So cool!!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThis video tells u if you have patience you can make a wonderful stuff….so I learnt to be patience while making anything.
ОтветитьI have three material/based questions for you! But first, thank you for these videos. Watching your craft is hypnotic - you are so talented, and I hope to be at your level one day. Now on to questions!
1) What did you use for your core on your hand sewn headbands?
2) What is the material you used on the spine prior to sanding it down?
3) Where on earth did you find your stunning wooden press? It is beautiful.
Thank you!! 🥰
The spine board you used thinner than the cover board? I’ve been searching for a tutorial like this for hours and this is the first I’ve seen like this.
I’m trying to get away from the stiff square look of the books binding currently. This may be my solution! Thank you!
