The Bioshock Infinite we never got

Bioshock Infinite might be one of the greatest games of all time, but this version could have been THE greatest game of all time.

People give Ken Levine a lot of stick for how Infinite turned out & what we never got in the end, but in reality, his vision for the game was just lightyears ahead of the technology at the time. It's why I'm so looking forward to Judas. I feel like with Judas it's gonna be like what we could of got with Infinite.

Would you kindly redevelop this game and make this the version

apparently the fault of this game not reaching its potential was Levine himself, he was said to be a terrible leader and he probably didn't know how to apply and organize the incredible ideas he had, but I still love this game

I like to think that the alternate universe you jump into where Booker was a Vox Martyr, THAT was what the game could have been like lmao.

Instead of making Judas he should have just made the Bioshock Infinite he promised from the beginning.

It’s so sad to hear him say that the skylines “are NOT a monorail, they are incredibly open-ended with verticality!” The skylines we actually got were totally a monorail with closed points of entry and exit and like zero verticality, just transporting you from point A to point B in a somewhat cool way.

I'm sure many think bioshock infinite as we got it is a fine game, maybe a great game, but it never felt like "bioshock" to me. It should've been a spiritual successor, just as bioshock was a spiritual successor (not a direct sequel) to the System Shock games.

If they'd have called it "sky shock" or maybe "reality shock" then people wouldn't have felt like it was such a jarring shift in story, setting, genre, gameplay, and style to the bioshock games. Because it wouldn't matter that it was so different: it's a different series.

Kingsman 1 was the best bond film that wasn't a bond film for YEARS, but if it was released with a James bond skin overlayed - characters renamed and little else changed, it wouldn't been a flop because it was just too different

We were promised Comstock, we got Cum-sock instead.

A little more resident evil nemesis and a lot less call of duty would have done this game wonders.

So many people love this broken POS game and I really just cannot stand it, the first and second games are perfect but this was just a leap to far.

Can you imagine if they released this version in 2018 or 2024, the online chuds would be going CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY and cry woke for literal years, wouldnt be surprised if elon himself would step in and try to stop the game from releasing at all

I don't get people praising this, it also has the same stupid galaxy brained centrist narrative, and most of the things in this video already made it into the game. You're insane if you think the game would've been better if they did a few better skyhook sections better. The narrative was ass from the start.

It’s normal for developers to have super ambitious ideas and then have to cut them for the sake of time and budget constraints.

Man, this version of the game sounds so much better than what we ended up with.

Every time I see those rail jumps, I think, ow, my balls.

Even Columbia looks way more nightmarish here. It feels like an actual incarnation of American Jingoism taken to the extreme.

"fck white ppl" the game is really awful. The term founder is used to replace the term "white people" because you notice how he speaks about the founders. Adulterated history to fit a leftist Talmudic message is not cool.
