Dammit, Josh. I placed my paycheck in the bank, I get home to make a purchase, and I was too late! I wanted a Phaser and a Chorus. But now my dreams are shattered. Everything is sold out. You sell out too fast. Ahhhhh!!!

Just happened to wake up last night around midnight, so was able to get the Ross Phaser and Distortion. MEANT to get a Fuzz, woke up again later with the realization I got the wrong thing!
Josh's demo makes me feel better, the Distortion will be cool as well.
YES! Josh will do a class on building the Ross Fuzz, awesome.

Man... the other out-of-business video said Ross pedals go on sale at midnight Friday. I always thought you had to go through noon Friday ,before you got to midnight Friday. Oh well, just another "one that got away".

Back in 2011 -2015 it would have flopped because your making an original hardwired unit mass produced.

They flopped because they are bulky and even though 179 is not high as others around. The tone purist would have liked to see them hardwired like the original. Period!

As far as is it better handwired that is not the topic. JHS failed because of what the pedal started off as and not recreating that.

What they should have done is put them in smaller enclosures. 😂

You said it was Friday at midnight and Ross compressors have been sold out 20 some hours ago. I don't know who else calls midnight on a Thursday...Friday night. That was needlessly confusing. A date would have been helpful. I can see by the comments, I wasn't the only one I thought this. This could have been handled better.

That’s 3 thousand people that could have just purchased the pedals and kept the Ross line alive.

Grabbed a Ross fuzz, is this similar to a tone bender or fuzz face where it needs to be first in the chain?

Feel kind of dumb, I logged on before they were sold out but waited too long. But then I'd also be tempted to Reverb it, which is lame.

All the Ross pedals listed as sold out for 2 (!) days now. It's Saturday morning typing this. A lot of JHS drama for nothing. Like selling premium air for car tyres....

The sale started at 2pm on a Friday afternoon here in Perth, Australia. I pulled over on the side of the road and bought a Fuzz and a Phaser. Thanks for doing this JHS. I'm excited to get the gear. I'm not at all surprised they sold out in 10 mins.

The thing that bums me out about this is that Black Friday is the day ...after ... Thanksgiving. That being said, I still love JHS....

I wasn't interested in the Ross line-up when they were released, in the intervening year when they were freely available, nor when this sale was announced - they were just not for me - I was, however, interested in a 3 Series Flanger and Hall Reverb, so I was pleased to get them at the sale price 👌👍 I just need to see what, or if, I get customs/tax charges when they arrive here in Poland (and it would've been really handy if the Shopify system let me pay in USD, but hey).

Anyone sad they missed out the $79 Ross pedals the 3 Series pedals are all $75 all week. A full pedalboard of 3 Series would actually be really sick. I have the overdrive and the sound and build quality is really good.

Funny to me you even have to hype this. I have the fuzz but man... that phase and chorus... Sad these are leaving...

You could try a substack newsletter type thing with early warning of larger, public limited drops free and you could have a paid subscription with exclusive access to smaller drops

I woke up just before 1:00AM EST just for this sale...watched the website reset for the sale. Bought the Ross Compressor and Chorus. Can't wait till they get shipped.
