I have slightly downturned eyes and, while I have never worried about the tyranny of popular eye shapes like the cat eye, I will give this a try.

I have slightly down turned eyes and I long since stopped taking everything to the outer edge. You have just confirmed this for me 😘 anything in my outer edge just drags my face down and at nearly 59 yo I need every trick in the book 😂

This would not work for eyes that are slightly too close together as putting eyeliner in the inner corner makes it look worse - lovely if you already have large wide set eyes like you
