Join us on a walking tour of Albufeira’s Newtown in September, as we explore the transformation this lively area undergoes after the summer rush. September brings a calmer vibe to Newtown, with fewer crowds and a slightly older clientele enjoying the many restaurants, bars, and stunning views.

We start our journey at the top of the strip near the traffic lights, passing popular spots like the Mexican restaurant and Lisa's Bar. Midway down the strip, we encounter some of our lovely subscribers and pass by Matt's Bar, which was closed for the evening. As we continue, we meet the manager of El Rancho Steak House, who shares insights into their delicious dishes—no wonder they've been open for 40 years!

Our walk leads us down to the beautiful Oura Beach, the Algarve's Blue Flag Beach where we take in the sights of Italian and seafood restaurants like San Martin and Vivaldo's. While we aimed for a perfect sunset, the weather had other plans. Still, the stroll was a fantastic experience, showing a side of Albufeira that's quieter yet just as charming.
