The CINCH Cycling camp is like nothing you have ever seen or participated in.
Our unique camp concept is about bringing your cycling to life in the most incredible formats while helping you align your progress with your personal “why.”
In this video you will see our unique process and what it is like to participate in one of our camps. It is all about working on individual goals while being part of a team in a group environment.
Individual TT- This is the foundation of cycling. Here we worked with each cyclist on how to create the most speed from their individual efforts. This included coaching on pedaling technique, distribution of power, aerodynamics, timing, and pacing.
Climbing Race Simulation - This challenge was all about creating a climbing pacing strategy around your Rider Type. The campers were put on even teams and were given a race scenario. They had to come up with a strategy using each teammate to do their best within the scenario. Race radios were used to communicate among one another as well as for the coaches to give live feedback.
Lead Outs and Communication - This day was all about different abilities communicating with one another to reach a common goal. In essence, how to make a successful group ride or race experience. The riders were put on new teams and took turns pacing one another up a steep and technical climb. To get this right the riders had to communicate and listen real-time each step of the way.
Technical Riding - We spent a whole day on power use, cornering, descending, braking, line selection, and accelerations. The focus of this day was to really get all riders of all abilities up to a high level of cycling performance.
Rolling Race Simulation - For the final day of the camp we put all the learnings together for an incredibly dynamic day. This saw the same teams from the pacing and communication day execute their own tactics and teamwork in a fun competition. Race radios were again used to maximize communication and coaching. The end result was one of the most fun days on the bike possible!
Stay tuned for the summer camp dates which will be released shortly!
