Epic setup. I have most of the gear you feature… still waiting for a motorized trim wheel solution that’s not Virtual Fly. Hopefully Winwing or Moza will come with something cheaper. I justified paying for a Brunner set but everything from VirtualFly is stupidly overpriced

Simionic G1000 allows you to use the G1000 & Nxi suite with any plane, even the ones that don’t have it equipped in the sim. It also saves you some frames since it runs on iPads with bezels

also for the top where the wood has cracked at the bends you could use vinyl and spray glue that they use for car seat embroidery to give it a faux leather dashboard type feel

Its a dream setup for GA great job. How do you handle other aircraft like fast jets and heli's with vastly different controls or does that not take your interest?

My flight sim is worth more than my rig too (1992 Nissan PU) newest vehicle I ever owned and never owned a vehicle with air conditioning, unfortunately my flight sim only consists of a Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo. The rudder peddles throws it over the top.

Why don't you just put some double sided tape on that light that keeps falling? You don't have to remove the light, right?

HDMI doesn't suffer from signal degradation. It's either 100% or you get a black screen. If you're doing runs more than 25 ft, just go with fiber optic HDMI cables.

I found a little bit of airflow helped my brain 'forget' I was at a desk and wasn't actually moving through the air. Have you thought about a little fan system with directed airflow?
