This is brilliant!! Thank you!
ОтветитьCould you put the silicone molds on a hot plate to keep the mold heated to allow the bubbles to escape the hot glue?
Ответить😍👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьFilling those molds with the hot glue kind of reminds of the Mattel Thing Maker when I was a kid. Amazing how they make PVC look like a real candelabra.
ОтветитьWow! That turned out better than I thought it would. I never thought to use hot glue for casting. And how easy this would be to fit it with flicker bulbs.
ОтветитьI can see adding some led lights to the top as well. Very cool build and using the hot glue in molds is guiness. Looking forward to the next project.
ОтветитьDefinitely works. Amazing job man. Looks very convincing. Well done and thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьYes!! More people using hot gluuuue!! The hot glue liiives!! XD
ОтветитьWhat a great idea! Where did you find the colored glue stick?
ОтветитьThat was great!
ОтветитьGreat video! I always learn so many great techniques from your videos! Thank you!
ОтветитьMost excellent! Love how it turned out!
ОтветитьJust letting you know that since I found you my Halloween is totally going to be awesome 😎
ОтветитьThank you! Definitely using this in a future project!
ОтветитьThis is so simple and so good. Thanks for sharing!
Ответитьyour channel is criminally underrated!!!
ОтветитьWhat kind of hot glue is it that you use!
ОтветитьGreetings everyone. So I have a question about the hot glue technique. So I live in sunny, hot Florida where hot glue isn't really ideal and could become a mess (especially when it's stored in my incredibly hot attic over the summer.) What would you recommend to avoid such messes? Would you use another resin like the uv resin after applying the hot glue or would you use a alternative resin for the hot glue parts?
ОтветитьAll I know is.......... if I were a movie mogul, you'd definitely be head of sets and production. Thank you for sharing your talents. These are a joy to watch.
ОтветитьI love this what an awesome tutorial. Thanks for working out the kinks for us lol.
ОтветитьMind-freaking-blown! 🤯🤯 This is amazing! It's a completely different look! I recently have come across using hot glue in molds and...Kinda wanna try it with some projects! Maybbbee I'll attempt something like this! Thank you!!
ОтветитьWhat is the plastic base for the undecorated candelabra?
ОтветитьGives me an idea for a Christmas centerpiece.
Ответитьjust WOW
ОтветитьVery good son😊
ОтветитьThat’s genius! Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьIt always makes me drop my jaw when I see what amazing props you create with simplest devices and materials. And this candelabra prop is one more AWSOME example. Thank you so much for this tips, I love it!
ОтветитьGreat stuff. You're very talented with good videos. However, the silly music is too loud compared to your voice, on all the videos. Almost unbearable with ear buds. I always look forward to new videos making me dream of projects. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьHOW have I never seen your videos??? I LOVE your theme music, and all the help to make our haunt a home 😁 or maybe that's backwards 😳🤔 either way, thank you for your help!
ОтветитьThis was awesome
ОтветитьDo you have a parts list for the candelabra?
ОтветитьThanks for the build . I will check out surebuilder products.
ОтветитьBest candle wax drippings ever!
ОтветитьDid you ever do a review of the pvc candelabra? It's obviously easy to actually due, but the base is what has me a little stumped. Is the base a ceiling mount light socket?
(Edit) Both this and the cobweb video look great.
Sir, you are a master! Love these ideas!
Well done!
Absolutely Fantastic!!!
ОтветитьYAY! Someone with a sizeable platform validating my decision to use hot glue instead of resin in my resin molds! 😂
ОтветитьGreat job
Ответитьthat's amazing!! looks beautiful. I had no idea you can mix hot glue with silicone! I have silicone ice cube molds that look like dentures.......hhhhhmmmmm
ОтветитьSo, I've been trying my hand at recreating this prop, but the hot glue appliques refuse to cooperate. The piece which wraps around the candelabra arm keeps popping off on me. I lightly sanded the PVC before the assembly, but all I can think is to hit it again with a lower grit. I'm worried that'll create too much texture and will become unsightly after painting, though. Any ideas on how to get a stronger bond?
ОтветитьIf anyone plans to use high heat on pvc, it must be done with proper ventilation, as it produces chlorine gas.
ОтветитьAwesome tutorial! I've never even thought of using hot glue like that. I definitely need to get some of those cosplay sticks.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьRegarding the bubbles on the surface of the casting, putting the mould on a board and dropping it a couple of times might encourage the bubbles to let go and float up. I think I have seen this technique used for silicone and resin casting. Gently warming up the mould with the heat gun might also help. That way the glue won't immediately freeze to the mould on contact.
ОтветитьYOU are a GENIUS!!!!
Hot Glue is not only Flexible...but cost effective..
Thank Mr. Genius for yet another GREAT VIDEO...

ОтветитьThis is seriously genius. I’d never think to do this
ОтветитьWow, as soon as you sprayed it with rubber coating it just transformed instantly. So good
ОтветитьYou are good! Was that white hot glue? Do you know what is best to glue construction styrefoam to more foam?
Ответить
