Thanks Andy. Your still the Review Ninja!
ОтветитьYou fixed the level balance! Nice work, Andy!
ОтветитьThe intro jam was killer. It has a Glass Beams air to it. 🤘🤙
ОтветитьNice one Andy!!! Benson builds good stuff!
ОтветитьAnd i sold the benson fuzz. It keeps changing it tone. Very often. I hate it. I sold it.
ОтветитьBest jams from this guy.
ОтветитьVery cool! I'd always associated PT2399 delays with being very lofi, like the Death By Audio Echo Dream, but the Benson Delay is a whole other thing. I like it!
ОтветитьI assume Andy listens to the Mermen. 🔥
ОтветитьThat new blue LP is one of my favorite Andy guitars now. The others are the Red Tail goldtop and the Ibanez Destroyer!
ОтветитьDoes this magical thing do trails?
Ответитьthe delay sounds itself aren’t that exciting or unique but I really like the weird modulated tones you can get with it.
ОтветитьThat intro was sick!!!
ОтветитьThis is the first time in a long time I've been tempted by a new delay pedal. A few good tricks and extra controls beyond the basics, but not so much to get bogged down and it sounds really nice (doesn't hurt that Andy is such a pro ;-)).
Ответитьand it is barbaric 👌👌
ОтветитьIt's a delay
ОтветитьI am hearing the same input clipping as I heard on Mark Johnston's video. Is the lack of headroom on this causing that buzzy clipping sound?
Nice sounds and playing as always and I love the design- shoutout to the jack deville ACV deluxe layout.
If this thing were stereo with a ping-pong switch it would be the absolute do-all perfect delay pedal for me.
ОтветитьI really liked the into-track, Andy. 🤘🏻
ОтветитьThe guitar player from Rival Sons needs one of these.
ОтветитьAs ever, you make every toy necessary for my arsenal. But I thought my delay game was pretty set. You’ve opened up a new yen for me. Wonderful. Benson rocks.
ОтветитьLove that Barbaric from blur. Enjoying that with the Rubberneck delay after watching also your previous demo Andy. I bet they’re identical 😬
ОтветитьAnother PT2399 delay that is also great is the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay. When not modulated, the Benson Delay shares some similarities with it, to my ear.
ОтветитьRemember, always play the clean tone, and dont use a pick. Those are key to being a successful demo channel. 😂 loved your appearance on JHS. Lol
ОтветитьWow to turn and old Zeppelin grove and flip it on it head write and create an entire new song that has the style of Zep but so original and dark your creativity is off the charts Andy!😊
ОтветитьBARBARIC! Dude, that’s become my favorite Blur song. So happy to hear it 🧡🤘
ОтветитьThere are a lot of delays out there, yet it seems an instant classic! Benson stuff are always impressive.
ОтветитьWe're all just watching Andy age in real time
ОтветитьFirst jam could be a built to spill song, like Perfect From Now On meets You in Reverse. Andy you’re such a great player, and you do probably the most underrated thing in playing music - inspire. Really gotta get a new delay now 🥵
ОтветитьAll new delays demos sound the same, how can we compare them? It's like hearing 100 tubescreamer demos, all will sound the same.
ОтветитьGotta get some Blur in there!
ОтветитьI just scored a MN-3005 AD-900 for $120. I am gonna have to pass on this one.
ОтветитьI’ve got the Asheville adg-1, boss dm-101, Strymon Volante, Boss RE-202, UA Starlight, and Chase Bliss Mood Mk II. I don’t need this thing, but I love the concept of something that sits between analog and digital that isn’t a tape echo.
ОтветитьSo so good, man!
ОтветитьAlways have to watch these videos twice: once for the review and again for the playing and cool tricks you use.
Thank you!!!
Sounds outstanding. With all the options, they omitted stereo? I'd pay double for a stereo with midi preset option
Ответитьhere we go again . grow up. there i s nothing bad or wrong with digital . just because you bought a digitech and its amp models sucked doesnt mean its 1990 for the rest of us .
ОтветитьSo i know this uses a PT2399 which is a digital delay line. In terms of theory whats the difference between that and a DSP chip?
ОтветитьBeson delay vs rubberneck?
They seem very similar. Would you say the benson is higher quality component wise?
Im juuust a jeepster for your looo ooove.
Ordered one today and a Monarch +, still won't sound anywhere as good you do though
ОтветитьI’ve bought and sold a Strymon Volante twice. Have been considering getting one again, but damn does this Benson sound good…
ОтветитьSounds great, but for what I use a delay for I can just stick with my Greer Black Tiger Delay, which is also PT2399-based. The degradation of the repeats is very, very similar, and I don’t really need modulation or vibrato. The Benson is a really nice pedal, though.
ОтветитьTasteful Mr Andy, very tasteful playing, great tune at the beginning!
ОтветитьWhen Tone is your number one priority is this the Delay to get?
ОтветитьI have a carbon copy delay that does everything I need a delay to do but this pedal just seems SO fun to experiment with and get lost in. I love that it can do all the “traditional” delays sounds but can also do any type of complex ambient sounds I’d ever want, without having complicated secondary functions. This in stereo would be killer
