TT : ZWIFT TT CLUB RACING - GLASGOW CRIT CIRCUIT - 05/01/2025

Happy New Year everyone.

This is the first video and race of 2025.

Didn't realise these shorter ITTs existed until I saw my friend and fellow rider Tommy Watts speeding through this route the other day.

I just had to have a go and see what the legs could manage after the Christmas / New Year period.

In theory a shorter distance at a faster pace / higher wattage should be ok to give them a good test before this weeks Ladder Races.

My target time to complete was sub 5 minutes which funny enough was the same time Tommy had set himself to complete.

I did message Tommy in the background as I didn't want him thinking I was blatantly copying him lol.

I also wanted to try using the Tron instead of the typical Cadex Tri bike.

I did get up to speed much quicker on the Tron and was doing well until I hit the Clyde Kicker.

Usually I hit this quite hard and can continue to power on over the top.

Unfortunately this time the Kicker slowed my pace right down, my legs were not happy and didn't want to play ball.

Watch to see exactly what happens and hope you enjoy.

I will tell you this though, I managed to keep some pretty decent watts going for most of this one!!
