Oneness Pentecostals believe that God was the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. The One God was whatever the need required. Why cant some believe that God can be whatever He wants to be at any time He wants to be that thing or person. Why does He have to be three seperate persons? He's omnipresent and a spirit that can indwell the man Christ Jesus, and any of those in whom He chooses to dwell. We reduce Him to some limited humanlike figure when we say that to do different things he has to be seperate persons doing different things. Besides, if God is a spirit and the Holy Spirit is a separate person within a trinity then does the triune God have two spirits?.... Sincere question. Also, the new testament says that the FULNESS of the Godhead dwelt in Jesus and that the only name by which we are saved is Jesus. Why then would you claim that Jesus name baptism is false? Also, whatever we do in word or deed is, acording to the Bible, to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus.

There are only three instances in scripture where we are told of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what happened the moment that they recieved ( Acts ch.2,10,and ch.19).
In each instance, the first thing that happened was that they spoke in tongues.
Three repetitions of something said and/ or an event is important in scripture.

1) To direct our attention to an important spiritual truth.
2) To set a precedent so that the same event occuring elsewhere in scripture need not be told in as much detail.

As the last person mentioned, the trinity has been around for ALMOST 2000 years. Oneness doctrine has been around since Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Duet. 6:4, and on into the NT. The trinity doctrine was made official by the Roman state, not God, in 325ad.

The Image of the invisible God, God manifest in the flesh, he has a God and a father. He is the Representation of God the Father to the human family, #3 Salvation is being born again of the water and of the spirit, the REGENERATION or spiritual birth, being Baptized with the Holy Ghost, and Baptized in the name LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thats the full Acronym of his name. Matthew 28:19-20. John 3:3-8. Being filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance like the Apostles is true salvation. Whether you know it or not. Obviously you don't know it. 1st Corinthians 12:8( for to one is given BY THE SPIRIT. The initial receiving of the Holy Ghost is not talking about the gifts of the spirit. I got mixed up in a Oneness Pentecostal church before I joined the army in 1975. That church was as described in this video. Dress codes, fear based and one must speak in toughs in order to be saved and bound for Heaven. Also, they believe that one could lose their salvation.

I done see any pray of what you said that proves they are not saved, GOD knows the heart and the intentions. So I'm a Oneness Pentecostal and I hold to the monotheistic belief in one God. I get hung up when Trinatarians say there are three bodies. That just does not make sense. So explain how the Holy Spirit dwells in Christians as another body? I don't think so.

The Holy Spirit is a spirit, God (the father ) is a
spirit John 4:24. Furthermore, the Bible clearly teaches that there is only one God. So if you talk about the Holy Spirit you are talking about God. If you are talking about God the father you are talking about God. And there's only one God. The Holy Spirit and God the Father are the same Spirit, same God, same entity, the same....

In the OT God said he will come as the Messiah and will dwell with people. That prophecy was fulfilled when Mary conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:21). The Bible doesn't teach that God the Father came to Mary (but we know that God is one so he really was there).

At Jesus' baptism the Bible teaches the Holy Spirit descended (not God the Father) and dwelt in Jesus. But if you accept this logic God was there but referred to as the Holy Spirit. So it makes sense that the Bible teaches that the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Jesus.

Father is the current Lord, Jesus is the Judge and the Holy Spirit is the savior. Father will crown Jesus once the final enemy has been judged and Jesus is the payment but the Holy Spirit is the one who says your worthy of that payment for you decided to believe and admit to him hes worthy. Seek out the Holy spirit and humble yourself and submit to him to receive salvation.

The apostles referred to God… not as God the Father, but rather, God our Father… they even referred to God as being THE FATHER of our Adonai (Lord) Yeshua Messiah…..and they referred to Yeshua (Jesus) as the Son of God or our Adonai (Lord) and Messiah. All of these other arguments about the the father, the son, and Holy Spirit as they related to trinity or not came LOOOOONG after Yeshua and His apostles had died. Read on Isaiah 43:10. "Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me."

And God actually said in Isaiah 44:8, and I quote in KJV, "Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any."

The Father God is the original, invisable Spirit who conceived all things. Out of Him came His Eternal attribute of Eternal Light and Eternal Life in the form of the Pillar of Fire, the Logos. The binding Spirit that emanates from Godhead is the Holy Ghost. These three offices are one God who knows all things, created all things, and sustains all things. The question of contention is whether Jesus, the man, is an Eternal son separate from the Father and if the Holy Spirit is an eternal being separate from the Father and Son. The Eternal Being, the Father, placed everything that pertains to creation, humanity, salvation, judgment, etc. in Jesus Christ. When we honor, worship, praise, petition, trust, and obey Him, then we are fulfilling the Will of the Father, who is hidden in Jesus Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself. The Holy Spirit baptizes us into the body of Jesus Christ and seals us in, that's Eternal Security. However, it does not come by "name it and claim it" by our own efforts at a time of our own choosing. We must come God's provided way when God opens the door to us with the Holy Spirit drawing us.

Oneness apostolics believe that God, the Father, is Spirit that no man has seen or can see (John 4:24)( John 1:18).
That Spirit is joined with the Sons' Spirit and together they are the Holy Spirit. The Word says the Holy Spirit is " the Spirit of God" and the Spirit of Christ"(Rom.8:9).
This joining of Spirit dwell in the glorified body of Jesus Christ.

I do attend a oneness church however I am NOT Oneness I believe in the trinity and when I say they are very very serious about speaking in tongues I mean they are unrelenting I finally had to tell them I do not believe that I need to speak in tongues to go to heaven God Bless my lil old ladies I love them but nope not doing it! My church ladies can’t cut their hair and long dresses no makeup They kind of make Jesus seem mentally ill like what is happening? Jesus wasn’t schizophrenic and hearing voices and answering them! Makes no sense! I was told that when Jesus was on the cross and he told the thief he would be with him paradise I asked about the fact that the thief didn’t speak in tongues so how did he go to heaven? Oneness here and I think you made a few errors about what we believe when it comes to God. It might be beneficial to talk to a oneness pentecostal about what they actually believe before making assumptions. We don't believe Jesus switches back and forth from Father and Son. We believe Jesus is Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost simultaneously. He fills the universe because he is God while also being a true human being at the same time.
