Fun fact; I’ve been to the summit of the tallest mountain in the world and no, it’s not Mt. Everest (in fact Everest is actually <15,000 ft from base to peak). For anyone who’s been to the big island of Hawai’i lies Mauna Kea (which doesn’t look that tall), right? Wrong, Mauna Kea is >33,000 feet from base to peak.

It's always been weird to me that Lhotse is 27, 940 feet high, only 1000 feet smaller than Mt Everest yet when you see photos of them next to one another Mt Everest looks massively taller.

These weird alien feet numbers really take the joy out of the video. You realize most of the planet is not interested in measuring with their feet. We have 10 fingers and 10 toes and that's pretty intuitive to us.
