Cops do not care that much about cyber crimes it wouldn't be going out of their way that much to figure it out also make sure you ask for their first name last name and badge number and what precinct do they work for if you are unsure if it is actually the police then when you get off the phone make a phone call and make sure that that police officer exists and if they do in fact work for the category like cyber crimes or sexual crimes or traffic violations or whatever that they are claiming to work for easy way to verify if they are telling the truth but usually cops won't go that far out of their way for a cyber crime and even so they wouldn't exaggerated your risk of safety over a cyber crime like that half the time they don't take abuse victims seriously or missing persons so a cyber crime would be a drop in the bucket

Oh and then telling you not to tell anyone and isolate yourself is another major red flag

Why are all these videos based on true stories? I can't be the only one who finds the true stories boring. Yeah, I get that them being true adds to the chill factor, but nothing ever really happens in them. Someone has a creepy encounter and then gets away and calls the cops. It's the same thing in basically every story. All the horror animation channels do this, I don't get it. Beyond that though, good job on the videos
