Thank god for mods.
ОтветитьGod I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since this game came out ngl it had its problems but it was fun when it came out
Ответить7 years ago is crazy I remember first watching this was it really that long ago
ОтветитьYour proposition to make the protagonist a synth and all the changes that implies is extremely close to the plot of prey 2017.
ОтветитьR u ready to help another settlement..🥲🥲
ОтветитьWho would have thought that FO4 would be the plateau of Bethesda?
Ответить"Boston after Trump" 😂
That was good
MrBTongue - a name (and subscription) I haven't heard mentioned in a long time.
ОтветитьSo if you love fallout 4, but this video inspired you to want something more- what game exists to be got that takes these arguments and makes a game out of it?
Ответитьi have to say this as its just clicked, ive never understood the argument you have taken on the dialogue options. ive seen many people have this opinion on many games and its always confused me why they see it as an issue. without insulting you as i do like your videos but i fear its due to a lack of imagination, the dialog choices are not there to progress the game in the way you want, its not that kind of game, this is a linear story based in an open world, without having multiple progressively unrelated story lines that the dialogue will change (im guessing you want the game to be released at some point ;) i feel like the definition of role playing has been lost in the years, you are pretending to be something, the experience is within your own mind you are creating your story, you shouldn't need to have everything spelt out for you otherwise what works for you wont work for another
ОтветитьI know this is old video from my post. This makes sense cause I tried to get I to writing stories for games but in my search the game companies were not looking for writers.
ОтветитьYou're almost 40 now, that's crazy 😂
Ответитьuninstalled after realizing youre not allowed to kill codsworth
ОтветитьGenuinely liked the Bright Brotherhood quest, mostly because it was my first Fallout game and I got that quest relatively early from messing around the map. I saw the name Brotherhood and, knowing about the Brotherhood of Steel beforehand, I thought it was the same group
And then I found those goofy ass idiots
And I loved them to death thanks to that, I couldn't stop laughing (helped them out genuinely)
Fallout is call of duty meets Skyrim
ОтветитьFallout: One Year Later: Seven Years Later
ОтветитьHow, not why, do they eat
Ответитьmy understanding of that Earl Stirling quest was he had already gone under facial reconstruction surgery thus no one recognizing him, making people assume he went messing. And the whole reason Doctor Crocker kills him is because Earl wanted to undo the surgery, offending the Doctor.
I don't know. maybe it was that bad that I tried to rationalize it that way.
I added a video but I got it wrong
ОтветитьYou got it right
ОтветитьThing is it can be said for all fallouts. I tried new vegas for the first time a few months back due to having ultimate. I played 4 the most (had fallout 3 but didnt get very far) and after moving on to new vegas I found myself enjoying it, the same spark I had with 4. Low level, got to scavenge and so on. It was rough at first but I warmed up to it. Figured things out, got better weapons so I could survive, adapted to things that were not in fallout 4. Though the weapon stability was a bit of a pain to maintain. Nothing major though, I could live with or without it really. Just maintaining the weapon quality for max damage is just a bit meh. I would say its about the same as fallout 4. Sure theres blackjack and so on which adds to the game but its what you do in fallout
You scavenge, take quests and go from point A to B

ОтветитьMy guy hasn’t played no man’s sky in years. I’m upset that it caught a stray.
ОтветитьFourth time I have watched this and, probably given that I started WoW again recently, I just now have realized: Bethesda wants to build an MMO! Go somewhere, accept all the quests, go out to complete the quests, come back sell the loot and turn in the quests repeat.
ОтветитьI’ve rewatched so many of this man’s videos. I need more content from you🙏
Ответитьgod going back to playing this and Skyrim is so bad. it just makes you feel hollow and leaves you internally begging for a nostalgia game that had some actual heart and creativity.
ОтветитьHere in 2025 and i can’t tell you how many times ive watched this and the first analysis over the years! The perfect while im grinding games or working. Thank you for these masterpieces!
ОтветитьOnly halfway through and I did not except the steven moffat shade and I love it so much
Ответить"samey"
Great Engrish!
Give the environment symbolic meaning.
Ответитьsix years ago I called this guy old for being 30. Now im 29.....
ОтветитьPost-Game Preston accusing me of genocide while continuing to live in my settlement.
ОтветитьI guess after those opening sentences, an impending divorce is not at all surprising lmao
ОтветитьSomeone, please, send this to Bethesda BEFORE they are deep into Fallout 5
ОтветитьIt genuinely feels like fallout 4 turned the series from a fantastic rpg with an excellent story (at least in reference to fallout new vegas) but bad combat into a bad RPG and story with middling combat.
The new combat mechanics absolutely aren't good enough to elevate the entire experience in a way that compensates for the diminished opportunities for roleplay and the pretty appalling story.
Just came back after seeing an ad for Glow of The Ghoul in F76. Omg they really turned the Ghouls into super powered humans with radiation powers just like the magician WTF 😂
ОтветитьThe rare sequel that bests the original.
Damn.
Only took me eight years, but here I am.
I feel like game companies need a department that just watches videos like this
ОтветитьHoly shit, you're gonna be 40 this year
ОтветитьThe Far Harbor rewrite idea is really good. It treats the player character as an actual character in the story and not just an avatar of player interaction like they usually are.
ОтветитьGood analysis mr anderson, fallout 4 is a game i could never get through and i think its because of exactly what you said. Fallout 4 isn't an rpg it's a bethesda game,it's no new vegas where you can truly slot yourself into the world, instead it's a skyrim where you visit random places and do random things. It's shallow. I understand why people like the aspects of exploration and fighting but those have never really appealed to me when not given a narrative to boot, but you do point out the positives of those aspects and it makes me think that I've been too harsh on this game and should give it another try.
