Warum eigentlich immer nur den Orgel-Sound? So schön dieser bei der Wersi auch ist, aber die Atlantis hat doch sicherlich noch viele andere schöne Sounds zwischen denen man wechseln könnte, um die Stücke etwas abwechslungsreicher zu gestalten. Habe früher selber Orgel gespielt, auch als Alleinunterhalter, und nie ausschließlich nur den Orgelsound benutzt. Den habe ich meist mehrstimmig beim Refrain eingesetzt. Und die Orgeln, die ich früher hatte, waren bei weitem nicht so hochwertig wie die von Wersi. Naja, jetzt als Pianist und Akustik-Gitarrist stellt sich dieses Problem für mich nicht mehr...

Einfach unvergleichbarer klasse Sound. Unglaublich gut. Könnte stundenlang zuhören. Habe mir selbst auf meine alten Tage noch eine alte Wersi gekauft. "La mer" geht schon einigermaßen. Wenn ich dann wieder Florian gehört habe, könnte ich glatt meine Orgel wieder verschrotten.😩

But, can I add that a genuine samba rhythm (as opposed to the disco version) would be make it even better.

Yes, Florian, it does all get down to individual taste and some people actually like listening to Beethoven or Glen Miller with a disco beat. However, music, particularly iconic dance music has an intimate connection to its roots. Those tunes became famous because they were sambas. Sure, you can do what you like with them, particularly when you play such a magnificent instrument so amazingly well, but they will never achieve their intended effect on the people who love them if they are not played as sambas. Some people say that it is all relative, that you only like the music you listened to in your formative years, however, I disagree with this view as well. The popular latin rhythms of the mid 20th century, especially those that evolved alongside dance styles, are far superior in every respect to the metronomic repetitivity of a lot of what we hear today.
