It is time for a competitive drive. May it bring peace and prosperity to our land. Let me grab my popcorn as I await Laji Abass' response. You've poked a hornet's nest! 😂😂
The only mistakes in your analysis is yoruba. It belongs to oyo tribe only, our general name is ootu .

ОтветитьIfe is the foundation of Yoruba land . Ooni of ife is the head of all Yoruba Oba and Benin . They take it or leave it.
ОтветитьIfe is the foundation of Yoruba land . Ooni of ife is the head of all Yoruba Oba and Benin . They take it or leave it.
Ответитьyou are always saying the true all the time God will counting blessing you
ОтветитьAwikonko does not understand history.
Yorubaland is different from Ootu Ife, Ijebuland, Ijesha land etc.
Yorubaland is split into 4 region (Ekun Otun, Ekun Osi, Epo, Ibolo).
Laji did not call himself Aare Opitan of Yoruba. Infact, he corrects people who calls him that.
Awikonko is just arguing ignorantly
Ride on awikonko
ОтветитьAbass was just being a chicken (coward), for not saying the truth, thank goodness that he agreed that Ife is the origin of Yoruba, what does that mean to him?
This is how we avoided saying the truth about our bad governance which made our public servants that we voted for to turn themselves into our gods.
it’s so disappointing that with the education and exposures of the new Alafin that he chose to pick up the fight of supremacy that added no values to our past Ooni and Alafin, can Alafin put up such attitudes in Canada? Would he not be professional? for crying out loud, Yoruba indigenes need a lot of support from our kings than this unnecessary supremacy rows, Fulani are committing serious atrocities in Yoruba lands, we need our kings traditional support and not picking fights. I commend Ooni for being a great king of peace, Christianity is about peace which is reflecting on Ooni, Almighty Jehovah will continue to endow Ooni with divine knowledge, wisdom, understanding & long life in the name of Jesus . Amen.
Thank you bro for bringing this to our attention.
Awikonko agbaye, my own brother
ОтветитьAwikonko huuuuuun oro po e ku eto yoruba e si ku atunse ko ni baje lagbara Olorun ati onile
ОтветитьYes,co ti bu Alaafin ri
ОтветитьEach Yoruba kingdom operates with traditional sovereignty meaning, every monarch (Oba) holds full authority within their own domain. There is no single central ruler over all Yoruba lands.
Historically:
The Alaafin of Oyo was regarded as the Commander-in-Chief of the Yoruba imperial forces during the height of the Oyo Empire. His power was largely political and military.
The Ooni of Ife, by contrast, holds the spiritual and ancestral mantle as the custodian of Yoruba origins and traditions. He is revered as the King of Shrines and Chief Priest of Yoruba deities—hence the title Oonirinsa (“Ooni of the 401 deities”).
In essence:
Alaafin = Political & military authority (especially during the empire’s era)
Ooni = Spiritual head & ancestral custodian of the Yoruba race
Both thrones are powerful but in different dimensions.
However, it’s important to remember:
The Ooni’s throne is the throne of Oduduwa, the revered father of Okanbi, whose seven sons became kings across Yorubaland. Among them was Oranmiyan, the last-born, who later founded the Oyo Empire.
The throne of a grandson cannot outweigh the throne of his grandfather.
Let’s honour our history with facts not with tribal sentiment.
Abas ti si oro so Olo setimes esin ati Ife oba si oba oyo
ОтветитьThe alaafin is fake, he is not the real alaafin he did not do ipebi.
ОтветитьAwikoko, infact you are very aggressive. I have listened to Laji Abbas prog. You have quoted him wrongly.
ОтветитьI can’t wait for Laji Abass reply.
ОтветитьIt is funny how the people of Oyo are proud for nothing. The current Oye Atiba is a refugee camp; just like Gaza. Now, they are competing with Ife, a land that has been there for thousands of centuries.
ОтветитьAARE OPITAN TI ILE FULANI NI
ОтветитьAlaafin Owoade needs to work with Ooni Adeyeye because Ooni Adeyeye is a man of vision and currently has the resources. Alaafin should collaborate with him for the betterment of Yorubaland as a whole. Ooni ni Olori Oba ladelade ooooooooooooo!" omoale yoruba ni aare opitan ..talo fun were ni aare opitan , itan wo ni babalakubaba nla aare opitan mo. aare opitan opuro ni
ОтветитьAll Yoruba know that Ile Ife is the cradle of Yorubaland! Nitorinaa, e je ka fun agba ni agba!!. Kekere ko ni baba omo fi ju omo lo!!! Eni to je OLORI ALADE ti je OLORI OBA GBOGBO!!!!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьYou are very wrong with your analysis sir
ОтветитьAwikonko, you are a genius and remain the best 🎉
ОтветитьWow! Yoruba nation is not formed yet, and this kind of infighting has been brewing. “Enia tanra e je bi eniti ibeji e ku tosope o lo seko”.
Another Bosnia-Herzegovina’ dream
You are on point. Awikoko. Odo to ba gbagbe orisun re yoo gbe ni. Ife Lagba.
ОтветитьI suggest we carry out a referendum among the entire Yoruba race to decide who is the highest ranking Oba in Yoruba land. My ancestors are from Oyo but we all agreed that Ile Ife remains the ancestral root of all Yorubas. Ooni is the leader without any doubt. I come in peace.
ОтветитьUnity is the best, and way forward
ОтветитьThank you Awikonko, your analysis is accurate and straight to the points.
ОтветитьMy Dear brother, you are doing a good job. Kudos to you.
ОтветитьIt's a very big mistake from Alaafin Oyo not to recognize the presence of Ooni in a noble gathering of that nature.
But, he noticed that Sultan was on sit. Haba!!!
Awikonko , e Seun fun oro ododo pelu ekunrere alaye ti e fi ye awon eniyan.
ОтветитьNow we should stop addressing aare onakankanfo of oyo as aare Yorùbá because only ooni can talk about crown.
ОтветитьAlaarinfin ni won pe pe pe to di Alaafin ,Alaarinfin of oyo lodi Alaafin of oyo. Right from beginning iwa oyo ise oyo Alaarinfin ni won that is why most of other towns do not like to associate with them at all. Ladi Abass is not a yoruba man, pure illiterate fulani man
ОтветитьAditi ni won pe ni ladi Abass
ОтветитьOLRI ITAN TE NHUN SO LARIN ARA YIN NI KI E KOJUMON E MA PA ITAN TI IBADAN RARA IBADAN KO SI NI ABE ENI KANKAN YIN NI TORI IBADAN KI ISE EGBE ENI KO KAN TI OBA KAN JE ALAGA NI IGBA KAN IYEN KO NI ITUMO PE IRU OBA BE NI O JE OLORI FUN ILU TO SE KU IBADAN KI ISE EGBE ILU KANKAN
ОтветитьAlaafin, knowing his own history, he decided to acknowledge the Sultan and ignore his own source - Ife 😂
ОтветитьOnisonu Laji Abass. Itakitan!
ОтветитьMake una con carry the Yoruba dey go! Abi.
Whether na Yoruba or yariba or Oodua, all children of the source that is not a stray knows his way home.
Ife is the source.
No matter how Italy, France, Germany or Britain becomes, they still remember that the Roman Empire and Emperors gave birth to them. They cannot compare their greatness to Imperial Rome.
What Oyo did back then, and is attempting to do again always leads down one road- downfall.
