Ответитьthis is old video
Ответитьthat was an awesome 300 game by jim stefanich
ОтветитьAnyone else catch that the commentator said "This is it for $10k strike #13"?
Ответить🎳 Like 🎳
ОтветитьThat’s back when Bowling was so Easy !! 🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳
Bowling is waaayy harder today with synthetic lanes, and all of the over reacting, reactive resin balls !
I hope they were kidding about way easier. Bowling took more skill and accuracy then. Now its more power
ОтветитьThe last shot went right through the nose. He got really lucky
Ответитьfind the awkward post interview of this
ОтветитьRick Parschen brought me here
ОтветитьHe bowled 300 on lanes that were not connected in a pair . they started on 27 and 28 .
but finished on 28 and 29 .
Right through the nose!! :)
Do men wear white belts anymore?
If I remember correctly, Jim Stefanich was a great golfer too!
ОтветитьLiked the sound of the pins
ОтветитьCommentators:
Bud Palmer & Billy Welu.
Whoa!!!! 12th ball smothered the 1 pin. Gotta have luck sometimes.
ОтветитьJim Stefanich was as smooth as silk. Bud Palmer the announcer who said Strike #13 gets a break from me...I thought he did a masterful job on any sport he covered and he did Basketball for some time for the NBA and was the voice of Saturday NHL Hockey in the 50s.
ОтветитьShit shot on the 12th and got lucky on two others.
ОтветитьThat sound is glorious; my family spent every weekend at the bowling alleys in the 1980’s and that’s the beautiful old school orchestra of crashing pins.
ОтветитьLanes #28 & #29 ??? Why were they bowling a single bowling game across two different pairs of lanes ??? Shouldn't the pair of lanes been 27 & 28; 29 & 30 ??? Not 28 & 29 ...
ОтветитьThe crowd back in the day wore proper dresscode..Today not so much lol..How times have changed in the last 5 decades lol
ОтветитьI remember that trip 4-7 on Jim's last ball like it was yesterday!
ОтветитьAs I recall there was some controversy around that tournament and house. Notice how much pin action they got using plastic balls (Columbia White Dots mostly). Rumor was that they were playing on 3lb 2oz pins, which were legal back then, but no more.
ОтветитьWorth checking out. PBA app. Just like with real bowling, not all the strikes were solid. Some of the strikes involve luck.
Ответитьso six years between televised 300s
ОтветитьI watch it live ! I bowled in Portland, ore pro am in 68 or 9.. got his autograph, salvino also, Dave Davis and a few others..
