Ok, found my new study!

I have been enamoured with Mark King bass playing and Level 42 since I first heard The Chinese Way back in the day. He and they still keep me wanting more.

Still rocking and sounding as good as ever. The core talent that is Mark King.

Mark just makes the bass sing - Amazing talent and skill, beautiful sound

He’s a great bass player doesn’t need the sound effects.

I've seen many live performances in my life. Level 42 was the best. I saw them live in the early 90s, in Hereford leisure centre in the UK a small venue compared to many they played. It felt intimate and the sound was fantastic. When he played his bass rift at speed i was exhausted just listening. The very best live concert I'd ever been to. I still enjoy listening to their music on vinyl 30+ years later.

Seen Level a few times, best show in the Netherlands when he actually sang the lyric in Love Games "Show your love to me" he sang "Show your T!ts to me" he had me in stitches hahaha

Playing the same three notes for 3 minutes is kind of a solo I guess....

Same thing over and over. Good for 10 seconds, then super boring.

Never been a Level 42 fan but his bass playing is exceptional.

Why is there always a dick who finds fault. And their complaint is way,way more ridiculous than the thing they criticise. Can't they recognise how dickish they actually are? (eg; see below
