Boards are nice when they are nice... But I've heard better rates just talking to people who have transportation departments at their companies. I'd spend a week calling around looking for direct shippers.

I’m really at wits end. Dmv got my title today and refused to change it from pickup to truck. They insist it’s a pickup and I agree, but irp office still refuses to give me a registration! I don’t know how everyone is doing it! Anybody out there looking for a new truck and trailer hit me up it’s useless to me!

I got a new dispatcher this week. Wow what a difference.

The big advantage to you two is; your wife is your on-site dispatcher. Hard to beat that kind of combo.

Trying to get a load home every weekend got any coffee you gotta take specific loads... wherefore me I'm out three weeks then home 1 week... so every Friday I can take any load

what is your home state? leaving the military in 5 months. my buddy wants me to launch a hotshot company w him. hes experience in car hauling and tractor trailers as well.. we are from connecticut and he tells me alot of people dont normally come up to new england and theres always loads....im applying for jobs but im thinkin of getting a truck and trailer...we'd go thru a buddy of his for insurance and Authority...so id have some room to settle in and get things goin. he'd likely be setting up loads..but hes only charging 20% from what i was told.
