Jonathan Hock reflects on producing "Through The Fire."
Born into an entertainment family in Queens, New York, Hock was destined for a career in sports and film. For over 10 years, Hock cut his teeth under the tutelage of the legend, Steve Sabol, at NFL Films, leading him back to Brooklyn where he started his own production company, Hock Films. After producing the beloved "And1 Mixtape Tour" for 7 seasons, Hock made his first award-winning documentary, "Through The Fire," profiling Staten Island basketball phenom, Sebastian Telfair. Hock has gone on to direct the most 30 for 30’s and has arguably the finest sports documentary CV of all time.
