Thank you for bringing this up Andy. I find it tragic how medicines that people need are often out of their price range and how the system makes it difficult to move away from them safely. I worked as an EMT, Army Medic and a nurse and have seen how people who lose insurance lose access to their meds and then they stop showing up for care. Soon they show up in the obituaries. Money is the driver. The VA is one of their biggest consuumers besides Medicare. Thank you for having this man on. People need to know.
ОтветитьAndy, you don’t need a degree because you have what many college graduates don’t have, and that’s a lot of common sense.
ОтветитьCan't wait to watch entirely. Hard topic, but, on this particular topic, the majority of opinions are valuable. I don't believe that human intent is negative. Most are either neutral or well meaning-particularly after they have children.
ОтветитьPBM's are part of the root cause of the problem.
ОтветитьNo doubt this will be an interesting discussion. As an aside, if it will mean a lot to you, I will get some BRCC for my hubs. My buddy loves it.
ОтветитьCheck out India your surgeon has done 5-10x the surguries of a comparable US surgeon the cost is 1/4 or less than you will pay in the US the outcomes are equivalent or better than in the US there is legal protection both in licensing and malpractice and you can schedule your surgury when you want and you will know your cost up front make it a vacation nice hotel near facility hang out for a day or 2 get surgury hang out until first post op visit get cleared to fly or stay and do some rehab any post op medications are 1/10 to 1/100 the cost of US prescriptions. just a thought
ОтветитьThank you for this great deep dive into healthcare.
What do you know about the dental world?
Or is that in the same realm??
I hope fox and cnn news is watching this as well as some politicians
ОтветитьNot even into this at all
ОтветитьThank you Andy - very informative as usually.
ОтветитьFunny thing, I'm sitting in CVS right now waiting for my meds while watching this.
ОтветитьThank God this isn't another inspirational podcast episode.
ОтветитьCould be because I'm watching on my 17 inch laptop, but the HRT regimen is cooking Andy looking good bud.
ОтветитьSons of a merchant marine
ОтветитьThank you for starting this conversation on your platform. Mr. Hamilton has a lot of insight and facts regarding the tragic health syndicate. To dive even deeper or peel back more layers Please have Brigham Buhler on! His life path and inside knowledge is so intense and educational it will change how you see everything. Plus he has started his own alternatives not only for an option but to prove it is possible. He is an amazing human who believes everyone should have the best possible health outcome. Prevention not sick care.
ОтветитьAfter getting jerked around by family owned insurance companies I shopped around. I signed over my asset management portfolio to "little mermaid" ins. Suddenly all the petty bills and arguments with 26 family members that occupied my time were avoided. It allowed me more time to focus on my music portfolio. I also had face to face conversation and a lot of unwanted stress disappeared.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьDrug commercials on tv way overrated.
ОтветитьJust got a new job. For myself and 1 child it would be 700.00 per month for Health Insurance
ОтветитьI hope he has success in whatever he’s trying to accomplish.
I’ve gotten to experience directly, and with others just how wretched our medical system can be.
A little off topic Randy but are you ever going to tell the story of when you called a woman " a dusty cunt"? If I'm remembering that correctly. 🇺🇸🤘🇺🇸🤘🇺🇸🤙 Cleared Hot and Antihero #1.
ОтветитьAndy, thank you for your endorsement of single payer healthcare! Welcome to the fight, comrade!
