So I recently got my Eproof children's book to look at and the ends of the pages are all cut off. This book is basically a 9x10. I noticed your Eproof is single pages. I uploaded mine in a landscape both pages shown on the Eproof. Should I have uploaded my PDF in single pages for this print book?

hello, how can i cancel my book order from ingramspark?

I’m curious as to what people did to get their book formatted and ready to then sell on IS or Amazon KDP? I was going to format on my own using MS Word but felt like it was super tedious, so I decided to try out IS Book Creator Tool and so far it’s removed this barrier for me because the tool offers roughly 6 or so pre-made templates for the interior and just as many for the cover. It’s all integrated into IS website and connected directly to my book. Although the tool is super helpful, it can be glitchy at times and if you’re not technologically savvy and can easily troubleshoot challenges as they arise, then it would not be helpful. Fortunately I am able to navigate it without too many hurdles, thus far. I just wish it was more flexible and updated. I had a graphic designer friend in the past (10 years ago) who formatted the interior and cover for my first book I self published and sold on KDP but I spent hundreds of dollars and didn’t make much back so that was a bust. 😢 any tips would be great!

Can anyone tell me if I add additional contributors are they supposed to be listed on the last window before finalizing? I have a second author and her name isn't displayed under mine. I have tried to reach out to Imgramspark for the last two days and haven't received a response from them.

Thank you for the tutorial. For a children’s hard cover picture book, I am not clear on how many blank pages front and back. If I have 42 pages of illustrations and I would like to add 2 more for dedication and interior title page, that would be 44 pages plus to add blank pages on the front and back (and to make it in multiples of 4), that would be a total of 48 to request a cover template? Is it always a multiples of 4?

What if I published a book through kdp earlier and want to add it to ingramspark? Is that something I can do? I bought my own isbn.

Has IngramSpark updated these forms in the last few months or something because when I'm trying to go along with this video, I don't have like half of these options and drop down menus.

I’ve submitted my childrens book to ingram spark and amazon but what ive noticed is that to even make a small 2-3$ profit i have to price my paperback childrens book about $18.99 while hardcover books on amazon and barnes and noble are at $17.99-19.99. At these prices the profit is negative. Ive had to price my hardcover version at 28.99 to make a $3 profit and i get charged the wholesale price for returns. Making self publishing print on demand prices uncompetitive. Do you know how other authors are able to sell on amazon tat what is below cost?

Honestly, I have had few sales and I discovered Ingram in which I am very interested in uploading my physical book (the digital one will be until the exclusivity expires). But I have these doubts: 1.- On Amazon I have expanded distribution, what do I do so that Ingram distributes my book globally? Do I simply deactivate said distribution on Amazon? 2.- The Ingram portal appears to me entirely in English, a language that I do not master; I am writing to you using Google Translate. Is there an Ingram portal in Spanish? 3.- The file of my physical book, which is the one that was uploaded to Amazon, is it useful for Ingram or does it have to be adjusted? Your video was great. The only question I have is regarding the imprint or publisher. I had a publisher and they agreed to release my book back to me. Therefore, I am republishing. I have an ISBN but own the copyright. Do I place them as the publisher still when asked or can I just use that ISBN and use my own LLC as the publisher/imprint?

Question: For the same book, I want to have my hardcover set up through IngramSpark but I want my eBook set up through Draft2Digital. I bought the 10-pack of ISBNs (none are set up/associated yet). I know both will provide the book at places like Amazon for sale, but how will they be associated with the same title (as in have just one page where you can choose between hardcover & eBook). I know the hardcover & the eBook will be different ISBNs for the same title, so I am just unsure how that will all work, or if it even can. Thanks!

One other question (and forgive me if I somehow missed this on my first watch of this video): Let's say I wanted to do a limited print run (like 20 copies or so) of a color interior version of my same book (VS the black and white interior). Not something that I would sell or distribute anywhere: just copies I would order for myself and sell on my own. Do I need to do the whole process over again, and most importantly, do I need an ISBN for this version even though it is essentially only going to me? Thanks again for your help! :)

1. What publication date do I use since I really don’t know exactly?
2. When I am ready publish worldwide, do I then go back into the book’s metadata and simply choose that option instead of “send to my account” as I did before?

Thank you for offering this. However, I had to use captions to follow along. You talk so fast and move through the process very quickly. If I hadn't published before, I'd be very confused.

I always have file error with my pdf, either fonts not embedded or some kind of error. I use ms Word export to pdf. It always work on kdp but never on ingramspark. How do I overcome this?
