So compared to Royal Star Class which is All Inclusive for everything...how does it compare price wise vs. value. On Royal Star we never paid for upgraded drinks, they just waived it if over the 13-14 dollar limit. Dining was really unlimited...at Chops I ordered a steak and up charged lobster which was no charge and the waiter asked how many steaks and how many lobsters I wanted....yike! The gratutity is tricky...so Star Class you dont pay and they say its included, but Royal also does not pay the same daily rate, so the crew loses out and that is kinda crappy thing to do to them. Royal sells me an all inclusive product and then does not kick in their part. Internet is decent and you get one device per person. One of the best perks is showing at at 1030am and onboard in the room by 11am to get settled and at the bar or pool or lunch by 1130...its like a full first day for sure!
ОтветитьThe celebrity all included was very expensive when i was booking my cruise last week. About $2000 more for an. 11 day cruise for one person. Last year the all included was included in my normal fare. I’m just going to buy whatever drinks i want since I’m not a huge drinker.
ОтветитьThey seem to be moving away from the premium segment with the removal of free room service, removing amenities from AquaClass and limiting their wines and liquor selections. But I will say, the service is amazing in Celebrity with the guest to crew ratio and the little touches.
ОтветитьHave a suite you get all the top packages
ОтветитьYou have a gratuity that is added if you eat in a special place of 20%
ОтветитьIt’s $11 dollars now instead of $9 on the classic package with 18% gratuities . And the premium package is now up to $17 from $15 with 20% gratuities.
Also it’s Luminae restaurant for Retreat guests - not luminate’
One only pa
I was on the same sailing as you. It was an epic journey.
ОтветитьCelebrity all inclusive is very deceptive....yes. after a couple of cruise discovered this. Yup, been there on that.
So much cheaper to go basic cruise and ala cart the rest.
And, you can go premium on thoes items needing to go premium and still come out ahead $$$ wise.
I really agree with you on the tipping. Many people point out that they like to tip more. Often. At the end of my 12 day Apex trip I found the service to be outstanding everywhere. However, I had my Luminae waitstaff and my butler that I felt went above and beyond to insure my cruise was incredible. Those got a small additional gratuity. But 99% did a find job and I felt the including gratuity was fine. With Starlink on almost all Celebrity ships, wifi is better fleet wide. While I was in a suite and used Blu and Luminae often, I also found the 4 included MDR's on Apex incredible.
ОтветитьSo, just to get it clear, you didn't just once look what the package covered. I am afraid I would be very embarrassed to make a video announcing to the world what a clown I am
ОтветитьIf someone dose something extra for you, why be cheap⁉
ОтветитьCompletely agree with you. Gratuity is fast becoming a huge issue in the US, and such views from people like you are not helping. Disappointed in your comments. Tips and gratuities were never meant to replace wages for hard-working people. They were always meant to be an additional bonus for those hard-working folks that go over and above and provide outstanding customer experience. The crew on these ships are mostly contracted employees with a fixed wage and they work very hard and sometimes very long hours. They need to be paid well period so they can better their lives and that of their families. The practice of using Tips and Gratuities to supplement theses hard-working crew is just unfair. It is about time hard-working people in the US are paid the fair wages they deserve by their employer. No begging and borrowing using alternatives for hard-work, period! Lets end this gratuity pandemic.
ОтветитьThe drink packages aren't worth it for solo travelers I am finding. My last Celebrity I met a few couples that had sailed without perks and purchased 1 drink package and shared it. The premium package is 100 a day plus 18%. As a solo traveler are you really going to have 8-10 drinks a day to just break even?
The zero proof package, which is the only non alcohol is like 30 a day, or 27 if you are select status. It used to be 20. I had this on my last cruise and a lot of time when I asked for premium water they didn't have it, so I received the basic one. Celebrity also eliminated the water only package and classic non alcohol. I expressed my frustration and the Celebrity rep I spoke just recommended I bring some water with me. I am done with drink packages on Celebrity.

ОтветитьWhat's included? I'll tell you what's included. Being snorted at by a gang of female Warthogs at Southampton England on the 20th October when you are expecting to board your cruise ship. Then Being separated from other passengers and denied boarding because Chief Pig Woman Lutoff Perlo and her team of female Warthogs have overbooked the cabins. Now Mr you tell Chief Pig Woman Lutoff Perlo to pay me the compensation due to me before she pays your commission for lying and cheating about her filthy thieving and Warthog ways.
ОтветитьSheesh! The way some people down here are correcting your every syllable makes me cringe. The info you give is solid, thorough, and greatly appreciated. Thanks for doing what you do!
ОтветитьWhen you have basic drink pkg can you get a $9 credit towards a more expensive drink or do you pay full price
ОтветитьNCL is nickel and dimming everyone
ОтветитьLove the info, thanks.
Ответитьjust a basic read will let you know whats included and what isnt, you don't need to make a very boring video about it.
ОтветитьWell we all know employers don't pay enough so I always tip extra
ОтветитьAbsolutely correct, wages are employers responsibility not the client. Tips are your personal choice if you really satisfied, it became a mandatory duty 🙁
ОтветитьCelebrity did advertise drinks tips and wifi all in the price of the cruise, no matter what room you booked, but it was short lived.
ОтветитьThis is why virgin is the best as it includes everything
ОтветитьI think the $30 per day price you saw for the Premium wifi is the price you’d pay if you don’t already have Basic wifi. For our December cruise on Beyond, we upgraded from the Basic wifi we already had to Premium, and it cost us $11.99 per day total for two people (not each). Celebrity needs to fix its website so, for people who already have Basic, the cost to upgrade from Basic to Premium is displayed. I wonder how many Wifi upgrade sales Celebrity loses.
ОтветитьUsually I dislike videos that show nothing but face of the person talking. I admite the color of the shirt compliments color of the eyes so well I didn’t mind at all😊
ОтветитьI just took my first cruise a few weeks ago on Norwegian. Their Free at Sea package is very similar. That includes drink package for drinks up to $15, depending on the length of the cruise, at least one meal in specialty dining, but more if it's longer, discounts for excursions, and a very basic Wi-Fi package. It's limited to like 150 minutes per cruise. this also includes the gratuity for all of these items, but not the general gratuities. We upgraded the Wi-Fi, but found everything else to be more than sufficient. I thought this package was a good deal and very reasonably priced.
ОтветитьRoyal Caribbean owns Celebrity
ОтветитьBeing a 1 or 2 drink a night person, the cruise only fare appears to be a better choice for me.
ОтветитьCan you bring any wine on board? I know Royal Caribbean allows two bottles of wine per cabin.
ОтветитьI generally tip the room steward and the waiter assigned to my table in addition to my prepaid gratuities. I do wish cruise lines would increase their employees pay but corporations always do their best to increase their profit margins. Unfortunately the employees tend to be the ones that take the hit.
ОтветитьFirst of all, get on the Edge class ships. We just got off the Apex in a Sky Suite. It was outstanding!
ОтветитьWe always appreciate your content and delivery. Thank you Brandon. -Julie & Brian
ОтветитьWe don't drink alcohol and are looking forward to no internet.
ОтветитьLoved Celebrity
ОтветитьI’m good with a cruise only fare. We got $200 credit so that will cover our tips.
This is best for us since we just avoid all the extras and it allows us to move up to try Celebrity.
We just came off Wonder of the Sea and had unlimited dining so never went to the main dinning room. Because of this we asked for a tip adjustment at guess services and were given a $112 credit. We took that credit and then tipped our cabin steward and all most of our specialty waiters in CASH. An 18% service fee was added to our unlimited dining package but who know how that money was divided up. Our wait staff and cabin stewards got CASH so they were happy and we got $112 back from RC so it was a win - win.
Ответитьso what does the all-inclusive dining included beside not eating at the Aqua and retreat restaurants ? What restaurants are included over the non-inclusive pricing
?
After 4 or 5 drinks who cares
ОтветитьConsidering NCL's package gives you 2 special meals, drinks, wifi, and 50$ per port for excursions.... this is pretty bad and imo not at all worth it.
Ответитьhow often can you get a drink with the top drink package? is it truly unlimited?
ОтветитьWhy is every cruise influencer homosexual?
ОтветитьWith the transition to a cashless economy I wonder how this will affect tipping in the long term. I would think that gratuities included in the fare is a step in that direction.
ОтветитьThank you for talking about "Tip Creep".
ОтветитьI booked an Al a cart cruise with Celebrity as I don’t drink. Just curious if you can pre book bottle water to your room? If not, can you carry on water or soda? Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for Sharing mate...👍🏿
ОтветитьThank you so much for the detail on the internet. Great video ❤
Ответить**It was brought to my attention Celebrity Cruise Line does not have an "all-INCLSUIVE" package but has an "all-INCLUDED" package with extra perks. In this video, I mistakenly confused the two terms. If you are looking at the "ALL-INCLUDED" rate and what to know what all is included and not included, this video is still 100% accurate. However, when I say "All-Inclusive" I should have said "All-Included".**
