Victoria is a great place to spend a few days. The food in China Town is the best!
ОтветитьI betcha Drake's parents named him after the restaurant
and here's a thought why didn't they call it fan tan street instead of Alley
My home! Born and raised 😊
Ответитьohh... too bad you didn't get to 'do' tea at the Empress. It's a classic and sooo sooo good.
Ответитьthe lights on the capital was cool
ОтветитьOur visit to Victoria was quite the adventure. We were the last to get back on the ship. My fiance insisted on an after dinner trip to town to see it all lit up. And a beautiful carriage ride back. I was a wreck walking the gang blank and everyone clapping for us 🥴 Funny now. I wouldn't change a thing.
Love your videos
Oh I was hoping Nat would make it to Murchie’s for tea and treats! They were probably closed that late at night. When you go back you must go!
ОтветитьThe cruise ship stops are at night and the best of Victoria is during the day. Buschant Gardens and high tea are not to be missed
ОтветитьSuch a charming place. 🥹 Happy you guys got to experience it. 🥰
ОтветитьSo beautiful at night!!! Such a fab trip!! 🎉🎉
ОтветитьMatt, great camo shirt...sometimes I couldn't see you because you blended in !! But seriously, FYI, there are about 20 countries where wearing or even possessing camouflage clothing is a ILLEGAL !! Some countries are in the Caribbean. Do a GOOGLE search to see the list of them all.
ОтветитьGreat video capturing my home town. My mouth watered when you ate the best chocolate in the world. Rogers memories ❤ thanks for sharing your time in Vic.
Love from Nova Scotia ps I'm Catherine's Mom
We love Rogers' chocolates! Thinking of booking the Clipper Ferry from Seattle so we can stock up again!!
ОтветитьThat houseboat would only be $176K in USD. So cute. Been to Victoria multiple times and never get tired of it.
ОтветитьI absolutely LOVE Victoria... thank you for sharing!!! ❤
ОтветитьI have watched many of your videos, but this was especially enjoyable! You captured the beauty of Victoria at night so well, and what an absolutely fun eating tour you took us on🥰
ОтветитьWho of you thinks everyone deserves to visit those a thousand places before thy die?
ОтветитьI’ve stayed the night in Victoria & loved it! We stayed at the Fairmont Empress hotel and then toured the Buschart Gardens the next day before he had to catch the ferry back to WA state. We walked around Victoria the night we got there & found it to be a happening place! Clean too!
ОтветитьI will taking this cruise this year, thank u soooo much for sharing! Great video, loved it! ❤️

ОтветитьI live just north of Victoria! Welcome to our Island!
ОтветитьChocolate is for sure in the wedding vows!! 😆 short but sweet video love it 😊
ОтветитьHey guys! Cool video. I'm surprised that your port time was only 3 hrs...bummer! One more stop back at my home town...Seattle!! Peace, Love, and Happy Cruising!! ✌❤🚢
ОтветитьGreat video! What month was this? My husband and I are cruising on the Bliss on May 17, our 45th Anniversary. I was wondering what to do in Victoria, now I know. Thanks!
ОтветитьAlways so fun to watch!
ОтветитьEvery year through the 80s & 90s I took the Black Ball Ferry out of Post Angeles to go buy a Canadian Fishing License. Sometimes taking the return in 30 minutes orher times the last at 4pm. Always debated whether to stay or drive home in 2 hours or straight to Neah Bay to fish.

You could have at least stop by my house for a drink
ОтветитьWhen I started watching you guys during your 50 states videos, you had about 35K subscribers. To see you now at 109K warms my heart. Your videos are great. Enjoy your success.
ОтветитьHermosos videos❤abrazo desde argentina
ОтветитьYour channel inspired me to start my own alsoo but still too far :D !! keep going :)
ОтветитьHey Matt & Nat! Love you guys and your videos. I’ve been thinking about doing your Italy group trip, are there any other single people or is it all couples?
ОтветитьIt was so great to chat with y'all last week in Tucson at TravelCon, and I'm glad you made it to Victoria! It's so beautiful there! However, I'm embarrassed to say that as a Chinese Canadian, I didn't realize that the oldest Chinatown in Canada was in Victoria, I had thought it was the one in Vancouver! Thanks for correcting me on that. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!
ОтветитьLove it! We only visited the port when we were in Victoria - as you stated - it was a very short port time. We are sort of early birds and by the time we were in port, we were tired. Even on the ship there's so much to do.
ОтветитьFan Tan Alley is North Americas narrowest st not Canada's. Fishermans Wharf where the float homes are located was never a SKID ROW as teh guy in Red stated. It is a commercial fishing boat moorage. As fishing fleet declined less boat came in and float homes did.The wooden cobblestones were put in way before asphalt was known they were put in not to mute horse footstepps be to prevent mudd.
ОтветитьWelcome to our city! So glad you enjoyed your visit in Victoria!
ОтветитьThanks for a great video! You're welcome back to Victoria anytime!
ОтветитьMy wife and I honeymooned in Victoria in 1994. We have been back two more times during cruises. Its such a great walkable city. There was a place by the port called Red fish Blue fish with great fish and chips the last time we were there in 2021.
ОтветитьYou guys are such a cute and fun couple. My husband and I love watching your show to get information on places we want to travel to. It would be very informational if you would put the month that you go to your destinations. So we know what the weather looks like when you are there. Thanks Deb and DJ
ОтветитьVictoria just right across the pond from me(Port Angeles WA) beautiful little city!
ОтветитьI live in Victoria and you guys made it look great. I’ve never been to The Drake but it looks awesome.
ОтветитьGreat job ❤
