All the Stevena groupies always chime on about soul mates or how it was the Sire Bond etc

The Sire Bond was a big deal sure, but, there have been SO many clues that it was more than that, and that Damon was right from the beginning for her.
Tyler first said it; the Sire Bond doesn’t change how you feel just how you act, so at most you can say Elena was a Simp for him but still have to acknowledge the feelings were real.

Then you have her, under compulsion, admitting she loved Damon not just because of the bond, and any Stefan fans saying that doesn’t mean anything need to take the scene where Stefan resists compulsion out of their arsenal and toss it away then cos it either doesn’t mean anything then or it is everything!

Elena said herself IF she had met Damon first( and she did. Damon saw her AND compelled her to forget - I’ve seen many ‘stelenas’ say that “errr no he did that to protect himself cos he said he didn’t want people knowing and he was doing that for KATHERINE!” No… okay yeah sure he made her forget for his own benefit BUT he did not have to tell her to go and “get everything you’re looking for”

Which if you remember was an ‘all consuming love’

Which people like to say was Stefan as she met him immediately after, but, in the car with Matt she says Damon “consumes” her …

Many MANY people said to Elena Damon wasn’t right for her as he was selfish, Stefan himself. He said to Damon’s face, right before it was revealed Damon let Stefan go to war alone like Lexi had asked…

Also he literally told Elena he couldn’t be selfish with her right before telling her he loved her and that Stefan ‘deserved’ her not him (deserve.. not is right for btw)

And so SO many more times but people will ship Stelena forever I guess… I mean yes I’ll admit Stefan wil always be GOOD for Elena. But
