I had this grand vision of gracefully navigating the waters like a pro during my first dinghy driving adventure. Let's just say reality had other plans! 🚤💨

Coming from a background of dirt bikes, I thought, "How hard could it be?" 🏍️ But little did I know, boat motors are a whole different beast.

See, dirt bikes have that handy power band—like a surge of power on demand. But with this dinghy, there's no gentle spring in the throttle to guide you back to neutral. Nope! You've got to manually handle that throttle return, which was news to me! And don't get me started on the reverse steering—I was definitely in uncharted waters there!

Picture this: Me, dreaming of scenic fjord cruises in Norway. What I got? A crash course in humility against the harbor wall. 🤦‍♂️ Ah, the taste of humble pie has never been so salty and seaworthy! 🥧⚓
Lesson learned: Life's adventures are best enjoyed with a healthy dose of humor and a willingness to laugh at yourself.
